Or il avint aux jours d’Achaz fils de Jotham, fils d’Hozias Roi de Juda, que Retsin Roi de Syrie, et Pékach fils de Rémalja Roi d’Israël, montèrent contre Jérusalem pour lui faire la guerre ; mais ils ne la purent forcer.
ACONTECIÓ en los días de Achâz hijo de Jotham, hijo de Uzzías, rey de Judá, que Rezín rey de Siria, y Peca hijo de Remalías, rey de Israel, subieron á Jerusalem para combatirla; mas no la pudieron tomar.
And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

Et on rapporta à la maison de David, en disant ; La Syrie s’est reposée sur Ephraïm. Et le cœur d’Achaz, et le cœur de son peuple fut ébranlé, comme les arbres des forêts sont ébranlés par le vent.
Y vino la nueva á la casa de David, diciendo: Siria se ha confederado con Ephraim. Y estremeciósele el corazón, y el corazón de su pueblo, como se estremecen los árboles del monte á causa del viento.
And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.
David’s house was told, “Syria is allied with Ephraim.” His heart trembled, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest tremble with the wind.
Alors l’Eternel dit à Esaïe ; Sors maintenant au-devant d’Achaz, toi, et Séar-Jasub ton fils, vers le bout du conduit du haut étang, vers le grand chemin du champ du foulon ;
Entonces dijo Jehová á Isaías: Sal ahora al encuentro de Achâz, tú, y Sear-jasub tu hijo, al cabo del conducto de la Pesquera de arriba, en el camino de la heredad del Lavador,
Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shear-jashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller’s field;
Then the LORD said to Isaiah, “Go out now to meet Ahaz, you, and Shearjashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool, on the highway of the fuller’s field.
Et lui dis ; prends garde à toi, et demeure tranquille ; ne crains point, et que ton cœur ne devienne point lâche à cause des deux queues de ces tisons fumants, à cause, dis-je, de l’ardeur de la colère de Retsin et de la Syrie, et du fils de Rémalja.
Y dile: Guarda, y repósate; no temas, ni se enternezca tu corazón á causa de estos dos cabos de tizón que humean, por el furor de la ira de Rezín y del Siro, y del hijo de Remalías.
And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
Tell him, ‘Be careful, and keep calm. Don’t be afraid, neither let your heart be faint because of these two tails of smoking torches, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
De ce que la Syrie a délibéré avec Ephraïm et le fils de Rémalja de te faire du mal, en disant ;
Por haber acordado maligno consejo contra ti el Siro, con Ephraim y con el hijo de Remalías, diciendo:
Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,
Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have plotted evil against you, saying,
Montons en Judée, et la réveillons, et nous y faisons ouverture, partageons-la entre nous, et établissons pour Roi le fils de Tabéal, au milieu d’elle.
Vamos contra Judá, y la despertaremos, y la partiremos entre nosotros, y pondremos en medio de ella por rey al hijo de Tabeel:
Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:
“Let’s go up against Judah, and tear it apart, and let’s divide it among ourselves, and set up a king within it, even the son of Tabeel.”
Ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l’Eternel ; cela n’aura point d’effet, et ne se fera point.
El Señor Jehová dice así: No subsistirá, ni será.
Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.
This is what the Lord GOD says: “It shall not stand, neither shall it happen.”
Car la Capitale de la Syrie c’est Damas, et le Chef de Damas c’est Retsin ; et dans soixante-cinq ans Ephraïm sera froissé pour n’être plus un peuple.
Porque la cabeza de Siria es Damasco, y la cabeza de Damasco, Rezín: y dentro de sesenta y cinco años Ephraim será quebrantado hasta dejar de ser pueblo.
For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.
For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin. Within sixty-five years Ephraim shall be broken in pieces, so that it shall not be a people.
Et la Capitale d’Ephraïm c’est Samarie ; et le Chef de Samarie c’est le fils de Rémalja, et si vous ne croyez ceci, certainement vous ne serez point affermis.
Entretanto la cabeza de Ephraim es Samaria, y la cabeza de Samaria el hijo de Remalías. Si vosotros no creyereis, de cierto no permaneceréis.
And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

Et l’Eternel continua de parler avec Achaz, en disant ;
Y habló más Jehová á Achâz, diciendo:
Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,
The LORD spoke again to Ahaz, saying,
Demande un signe pour toi, de l’Eternel ton Dieu, demande-le, soit au plus bas lieu, soit dans le plus haut.
Pide para ti señal de Jehová tu Dios, demandándola en lo profundo, ó arriba en lo alto.
Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
“Ask a sign of the LORD your God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.”
Et Achaz dit ; je n’en demanderai point, et je ne tenterai point l’Eternel.
Y respondió Achâz: No pediré, y no tentaré á Jehová.
But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.
But Ahaz said, “I won’t ask. I won’t tempt the LORD.”
Alors Esaïe dit ; ecoutez maintenant, ô Maison de David ! Vous est-ce peu de chose de travailler les hommes, que vous travailliez aussi mon Dieu ?
Dijo entonces Isaías: Oid ahora, casa de David. ¿Os es poco el ser molestos á los hombres, sino que también lo seáis á mi Dios?
And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
He said, “Listen now, house of David. Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God also?
C’est pourquoi le Seigneur lui-même vous donnera un signe ; voici, une Vierge sera enceinte, et elle enfantera un fils, et appellera son Nom EMMANUEL ;

Il mangera du beurre et du miel, jusques à ce qu’il sache rejeter le mal, et choisir le bien.
Comerá manteca y miel, para que sepa desechar lo malo y escoger lo bueno.
Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

Mais avant que l’enfant sache rejeter le mal, et choisir le bien, la terre que tu as en détestation, sera abandonnée par ses deux Rois.
Porque antes que el niño sepa desechar lo malo y escoger lo bueno, la tierra que tú aborreces será dejada de sus dos reyes.
For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.
For before the child knows to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land whose two kings you abhor shall be forsaken.
L’Eternel fera venir sur toi, et sur ton peuple, et sur la maison de ton père, par le Roi d’Assur, des jours tels qu’il n’y en a point eu de semblables depuis le jour qu’Ephraïm se sépara de Juda.
Jehová hará venir sobre ti, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre la casa de tu padre, días cuales nunca vinieron desde el día que Ephraim se apartó de Judá, es á saber, al rey de Asiria.
The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.
The LORD will bring on you, on your people, and on your father’s house days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah, even the king of Assyria.
Et il arrivera qu’en ce jour-là, l’Eternel sifflera aux mouches qui sont au bout des ruisseaux d’Egypte, et aux abeilles qui sont au pays d’Assur.
Y acontecerá que aquel día silbará Jehová á la mosca que está en el fin de los ríos de Egipto, y á la abeja que está en la tierra de Asiria.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
It will happen in that day that the LORD will whistle for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
Et elles viendront, et se poseront toutes dans les vallées désertes, et dans les trous des rochers, et par tous les buissons, et par tous les halliers.
Y vendrán, y se asentarán todos en los valles desiertos, y en las cavernas de las piedras, y en todos los zarzales, y en todas las matas.
And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.

Et ce jour-là, le Seigneur rasera avec le rasoir pris à louage au delà du fleuve, savoir avec le Roi d’Assur, la tête et les poils des pieds, et il achèvera aussi la barbe.
En aquel día raerá el Señor con navaja alquilada, con los que habitan de la otra parte del río, á saber, con el rey de Asiria, cabeza y pelos de los pies; y aun la barba también quitará.
In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.

Et il arrivera en ce temps-là qu’un homme nourrira une vache et deux brebis.
Y acontecerá en aquel tiempo, que críe un hombre una vaca y dos ovejas;
And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;
It shall happen in that day that a man shall keep alive a young cow, and two sheep.
Mais il arrivera que pour l’abondance du lait qu’elles rendront, il mangera du beurre ; car tout homme qui sera demeuré de reste dans le pays, mangera du beurre et du miel.
Y será que á causa de la abundancia de leche que darán, comerá manteca: cierto manteca y miel comerá el que quedare en medio de la tierra.
And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.
It shall happen, that because of the abundance of milk which they shall give he shall eat butter, for everyone will eat butter and honey that is left within the land.
Et il arrivera en ce jour-là que tout lieu où il y aura eu mille vignes, de mille pièces d’argent, sera réduit en ronces et en épines.
Acontecerá también en aquel tiempo, que el lugar donde había mil vides que valían mil siclos de plata, será para los espinos y cardos.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.
It will happen in that day that every place where there were a thousand vines worth a thousand silver shekels, will be for briers and thorns.
On y entrera avec des flèches et avec l’arc, car tout le pays ne sera que ronces et épines.
Con saetas y arco irán allá; porque toda la tierra será espinos y cardos.
With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.
People will go there with arrows and with bow, because all the land will be briers and thorns.
Et dans toutes les montagnes qu’on essartait avec la serpe, là on ne craindra plus de voir des ronces et des épines, mais ce sera pour y jeter les bœufs, et pour être foulé des brebis.
Y á todos los montes que se cavaban con azada, no llegará allá el temor de los espinos y de los cardos: mas serán para pasto de bueyes, y para ser hollados de los ganados.
And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.
All the hills that were cultivated with the hoe, you shall not come there for fear of briers and thorns; but it shall be for the sending out of oxen, and for sheep to tread on.”
