»Zur Strafe dafür, daß dieses Volk die sanftfließenden Wasser der Siloahleitung verachtet und zu Rezin und dem Sohne Remaljas sich freundschaftlich gestellt hat:

Por cuanto desechó este pueblo las aguas de Siloé, que corren mansamente, y holgóse con Rezín y con el hijo de Remalías;

Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
