Isaías 8

Und Jehovah sprach zu mir: Nimm dir eine große Tafel und schreibe darauf mit dem Griffel eines Menschen: Es eilt die Beute, es sputet der Raub.

Y DÍJOME Jehová: Tómate un gran volumen, y escribe en él en estilo de hombre tocante á Maher-salal-hash-baz.

Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Maher-shalal-hash-baz.

The LORD said to me, “Take a large tablet, and write on it with a man’s pen, ‘For Maher Shalal Hash Baz’;

Und ich ließ es mir bezeugen mit treuen Zeugen, den Priester Urijah und Secharjahu, Jeberechjahus Sohn;

Y junté conmigo por testigos fieles á Urías sacerdote, y á Zacarías hijo de Jeberechîas.

And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

and I will take for myself faithful witnesses to testify: Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.”

Und nahte der Prophetin und sie empfing und gebar einen Sohn und Jehovah sprach zu mir: Nenne seinen Namen Maher Schalal Chaschbas.

Y juntéme con la profetisa, la cual concibió, y parió un hijo. Y díjome Jehová: Ponle por nombre Maher-salal-hash-baz.

And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz.

I went to the prophetess, and she conceived, and bore a son. Then the LORD said to me, “Call his name ‘Maher Shalal Hash Baz.’

Denn ehe der Junge wird wissen, Vater und Mutter zu rufen, trägt man das Vermögen von Damask und Schomrons Beute vor Aschurs König her.

Porque antes que el niño sepa decir, Padre mío, y Madre mía, será quitada la fuerza de Damasco y los despojos de Samaria, en la presencia del rey de Asiria.

For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.

For before the child knows how to say, ‘My father’ and ‘My mother,’ the riches of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried away by the king of Assyria.”

Und Jehovah redete wiederum weiter zu mir und sprach:

Otra vez tornó Jehová á hablarme, diciendo:

The LORD spake also unto me again, saying,

Weil dies Volk Schiloachs Wasser verschmäht, die sachte gehen und sich freut an Rezin und Remaljahus Sohn,

Por cuanto desechó este pueblo las aguas de Siloé, que corren mansamente, y holgóse con Rezín y con el hijo de Remalías;

Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;

“Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;

Darum, siehe, bringt herauf über sie der Herr des Flusses Wasser, die mächtigen und vielen, Aschurs König und all seine Herrlichkeit. Und er kommt herauf über all seine Flußbette und geht über alle seine Ufer.

He aquí por tanto que el Señor hace subir sobre ellos aguas de ríos, impetuosas y muchas, á saber, al rey de Asiria con todo su poder; el cual subirá sobre todos sus ríos, y pasará sobre todas sus riberas:

Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:

now therefore, behold, the Lord brings upon them the mighty flood waters of the River: the king of Assyria and all his glory. It will come up over all its channels, and go over all its banks.

Und dringt in Jehudah ein, überflutet und geht darüber, er reicht bis zum Hals. Und die Ausbreitung seiner Flügel wird sein die Fülle der Breite Deines Landes, Immanuel.

Y pasando hasta Judá, inundará, y sobrepujará, y llegará hasta la garganta; y extendiendo sus alas, llenará la anchura de tu tierra, oh Emmanuel.

And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.

It will sweep onward into Judah. It will overflow and pass through. It will reach even to the neck. The stretching out of its wings will fill the width of your land, O Immanuel.

Gesellet euch zusammen, ihr Völker und entsetzet euch, und nehmet zu Ohren, all ihr Fernen der Erde, umgürtet euch und entsetzet euch, umgürtet euch und entsetzet euch!

Juntaos, pueblos, y seréis quebrantados; oid todos los que sois de lejanas tierras: poneos á punto, y seréis quebrantados; apercibíos, y seréis quebrantados.

Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.

Make an uproar, you peoples, and be broken in pieces! Listen, all you from far countries: dress for battle, and be shattered! Dress for battle, and be shattered!

Faßt einen Ratschluß und er soll zunichte werden. Redet das Wort, und es kommt nicht zustande; denn mit uns ist Gott.

Tomad consejo, y será deshecho; proferid palabra, y no será firme: porque Dios con nosotros.

Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

Take counsel together, and it will be brought to nothing; speak the word, and it will not stand, for God is with us.”

Denn so sprach Jehovah zu mir mit Kräftigung der Hand, und belehrte mich, nicht auf dem Wege dieses Volkes zu gehen, und sprach:

Porque Jehová me dijo de esta manera con mano fuerte, y enseñóme que no caminase por el camino de este pueblo, diciendo:

For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,

For the LORD spoke this to me with a strong hand, and instructed me not to walk in the way of this people, saying,

Saget nicht: Ein Bündnis! mit allen, mit denen dieses Volk sagt: Ein Bündnis! und fürchtet nicht was sie fürchten, laßt euch nicht grauen;

No digáis, Conjuración, á todas las cosas á que este pueblo dice, Conjuración; ni temáis lo que temen, ni tengáis miedo.

Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

“Don’t call a conspiracy all that this people call a conspiracy. Don’t fear their threats or be terrorized.

Jehovah Zebaoth, Ihn heiligt! Und Er sei eure Furcht und Er sei euer Grauen!

A Jehová de los ejércitos, á él santificad: sea él vuestro temor, y él sea vuestro miedo.

Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

The LORD of Armies is who you must respect as holy. He is the one you must fear. He is the one you must dread.

Und Er wird sein zum Heiligtum; aber ein Stein des Anstoßes und ein Fels des Strauchelns den zwei Häusern Israels, eine Schlinge und ein Fallstrick dem Bewohner Jerusalems.

Entonces él será por santuario; mas á las dos casas de Israel por piedra para tropezar, y por tropezadero para caer, y por lazo y por red al morador de Jerusalem.

And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

He will be a sanctuary, but for both houses of Israel, he will be a stumbling stone and a rock that makes them fall. For the people of Jerusalem, he will be a trap and a snare.

Und ihrer viele werden daran straucheln und fallen und zerbrechen, und darin bestrickt und gefangen werden.

Y muchos tropezarán entre ellos, y caerán, y serán quebrantados: enredaránse, y serán presos.

And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

Many will stumble over it, fall, be broken, be snared, and be captured.”

Schnüret zu das Zeugnis, versiegle das Gesetz für Meine Jünger.

Ata el testimonio, sella la ley entre mis discípulos.

Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

Wrap up the covenant. Seal the law among my disciples.

Ich aber harre auf Jehovah, Der Sein Antlitz birgt vor Jakobs Haus und hoffe auf Ihn.

Esperaré pues á Jehová, el cual escondió su rostro de la casa de Jacob, y á él aguardaré.

And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

I will wait for the LORD, who hides his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

Siehe, hier bin ich und die Kinder, die Jehovah mir gegeben zu Zeichen und zu Wahrzeichen in Israel von Jehovah der Heerscharen, Der auf dem Berge Zion wohnt.

He aquí, yo y los hijos que me dió Jehová, por señales y prodigios en Israel, de parte de Jehová de los ejércitos que mora en el monte de Sión.

Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of Armies, who dwells in Mount Zion.

Und wenn sie zu euch sagen: Fraget nach den Totenbeschwörern und den Zeichendeutern, die flüstern und murmeln: Soll nicht ein Volk nach seinem Gott fragen? Soll man für die Lebendigen zu den Toten?

Y si os dijeren: Preguntad á los pythones y á los adivinos, que susurran hablando, responded: ¿No consultará el pueblo á su Dios? ¿Apelará por los vivos á los muertos?

And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

When they tell you, “Consult with those who have familiar spirits and with the wizards, who chirp and who mutter,” shouldn’t a people consult with their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?

Zum Gesetz und zum Zeugnis! Sprechen sie nicht nach solchem Wort, so haben sie noch keine Morgenröte.

¡A la ley y al testimonio! Si no dijeren conforme á esto, es porque no les ha amanecido.

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Turn to the law and to the covenant! If they don’t speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.

Und hart gedrückt und hungernd zieht es darin vorbei; und wenn es hungert, dann ist es entrüstet und flucht seinem König und seinem Gott, und wendet sich aufwärts.

Y pasarán por él fatigados y hambrientos, y acontecerá que teniendo hambre, se enojarán y maldecirán á su rey y á su Dios, levantando el rostro en alto.

And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

They will pass through it, very distressed and hungry. It will happen that when they are hungry, they will worry, and curse their king and their God. They will turn their faces upward,

Und blickt es zur Erde, und siehe, Drangsal und Finsternis, umnachtet von Angst, und ins Dunkel hinausgestoßen. Denn nicht ist umnachtet, der geängstigt war; wie Er in früherer Zeit gering hielt im Lande Sebulon und im Lande Naphthali, aber es später verherrlichte auf dem Weg nach dem Meere jenseits des Jordans, in Galiläa, der Völkerschaften.

Y mirarán á la tierra, y he aquí tribulación y tiniebla, oscuridad y angustia; y serán sumidos en las tinieblas.

And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.

then look to the earth and see distress, darkness, and the gloom of anguish. They will be driven into thick darkness.
