Y DÍJOME Jehová: Tómate un gran volumen, y escribe en él en estilo de hombre tocante á Maher-salal-hash-baz.
Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man’s pen concerning Maher-shalal-hash-baz.
The LORD said to me, “Take a large tablet, and write on it with a man’s pen, ‘For Maher Shalal Hash Baz’;
Je me fis assister de témoins dignes de foi, d'Urie le pontife et de Zacharie, fils de Yebérékhyahou.
Y junté conmigo por testigos fieles á Urías sacerdote, y á Zacarías hijo de Jeberechîas.
And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.
and I will take for myself faithful witnesses to testify: Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.”
Et je m'approchai de la prophétesse, qui conçut et enfanta un fils. Le Seigneur me dit: "Appelle-le du nom de Mahêr-Chalal Hach-Baz .
Y juntéme con la profetisa, la cual concibió, y parió un hijo. Y díjome Jehová: Ponle por nombre Maher-salal-hash-baz.
And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Maher-shalal-hash-baz.

Car l'enfant ne saura pas encore dire: Mon père, ma mère, que déjà on emportera devant le roi d'Assyrie les richesses de Damas et les dépouilles de Samarie."
Porque antes que el niño sepa decir, Padre mío, y Madre mía, será quitada la fuerza de Damasco y los despojos de Samaria, en la presencia del rey de Asiria.
For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.
For before the child knows how to say, ‘My father’ and ‘My mother,’ the riches of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried away by the king of Assyria.”
L'Eternel continua à me parler en ces termes:
Otra vez tornó Jehová á hablarme, diciendo:

"Puisque ce peuple a dédaigné les eaux de Siloé au cours paisible et vu avec plaisir Recen et le fils de Remalyahou,
Por cuanto desechó este pueblo las aguas de Siloé, que corren mansamente, y holgóse con Rezín y con el hijo de Remalías;
Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
“Because this people has refused the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;
voici, le Seigneur dirigera contre eux les eaux puissantes et abondantes du Fleuve le roi d'Assyrie avec toutes ses forces ; il montera par-dessus son lit et débordera sur toutes ses rives.
He aquí por tanto que el Señor hace subir sobre ellos aguas de ríos, impetuosas y muchas, á saber, al rey de Asiria con todo su poder; el cual subirá sobre todos sus ríos, y pasará sobre todas sus riberas:
Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:

Il se précipitera sur Juda, entraînant tout sur son passage, arrivant jusqu'au cou, et l'envergure de ses- ailes couvrira toute l'étendue de ton pays, ô Immanouel!"
Y pasando hasta Judá, inundará, y sobrepujará, y llegará hasta la garganta; y extendiendo sus alas, llenará la anchura de tu tierra, oh Emmanuel.
And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.
It will sweep onward into Judah. It will overflow and pass through. It will reach even to the neck. The stretching out of its wings will fill the width of your land, O Immanuel.
Agitez-vous bruyamment, peuples, vous serez brisés; entendez cela, ô contrées reculées de la terre, armez-vous, préparez-vous au combat, vous serez brisées!
Juntaos, pueblos, y seréis quebrantados; oid todos los que sois de lejanas tierras: poneos á punto, y seréis quebrantados; apercibíos, y seréis quebrantados.
Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.
Make an uproar, you peoples, and be broken in pieces! Listen, all you from far countries: dress for battle, and be shattered! Dress for battle, and be shattered!
Concertez des plans: ils échoueront; annoncez des résolutions: elles ne tiendront pas. Car l'Eternel est avec nous.
Tomad consejo, y será deshecho; proferid palabra, y no será firme: porque Dios con nosotros.
Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

Car, ainsi me parla le Seigneur, avec une force impérieuse, en m'exhortant sévèrement de ne pas marcher dans la voie de ce peuple:
Porque Jehová me dijo de esta manera con mano fuerte, y enseñóme que no caminase por el camino de este pueblo, diciendo:
For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,

"N'appelez point coalition ce que ce peuple appelle coalition, ne craignez pas ce qui cause sa terreur; n'en tremblez point."
No digáis, Conjuración, á todas las cosas á que este pueblo dice, Conjuración; ni temáis lo que temen, ni tengáis miedo.
Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.
“Don’t call a conspiracy all that this people call a conspiracy. Don’t fear their threats or be terrorized.
C'est l'Eternel-Cebaot que vous devez sanctifier; qu'il soit l'objet de vos craintes et de vos appréhensions.
A Jehová de los ejércitos, á él santificad: sea él vuestro temor, y él sea vuestro miedo.
Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.
The LORD of Armies is who you must respect as holy. He is the one you must fear. He is the one you must dread.
Il est un saint Refuge, mais il sera aussi une pierre d'achoppement, un écueil propre à faire trébucher pour les deux maisons d'Israël, un piège et un filet pour les habitants de Jérusalem.
Entonces él será por santuario; mas á las dos casas de Israel por piedra para tropezar, y por tropezadero para caer, y por lazo y por red al morador de Jerusalem.
And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
He will be a sanctuary, but for both houses of Israel, he will be a stumbling stone and a rock that makes them fall. For the people of Jerusalem, he will be a trap and a snare.
Beaucoup d'entre eux s'y heurteront et se briseront en tombant; ils s'embarrasseront dans le filet et y resteront pris.
Y muchos tropezarán entre ellos, y caerán, y serán quebrantados: enredaránse, y serán presos.
And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

Il faut tenir secrète la leçon, mettre un sceau sur l'enseignement parmi mes disciples.
Ata el testimonio, sella la ley entre mis discípulos.
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

J'ai mis ma confiance en Dieu, qui voile présentement sa face à la maison de Jacob, et j'espère en lui.
Esperaré pues á Jehová, el cual escondió su rostro de la casa de Jacob, y á él aguardaré.
And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

Voici, moi et les enfants que l'Eternel m'a donnés, nous servirons de signes et d'avertissements de la part de l'Eternel-Cebaot, qui réside sur le mont Sion.
He aquí, yo y los hijos que me dió Jehová, por señales y prodigios en Israel, de parte de Jehová de los ejércitos que mora en el monte de Sión.
Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

Que si l'on vous dit: "Allez consulter nécromanciens et devins, ceux qui chuchotent et marmottent; n'est-il pas vrai que tout peuple interroge son dieu? Qu'il s'adresse aux morts en faveur des vivants?"
Y si os dijeren: Preguntad á los pythones y á los adivinos, que susurran hablando, responded: ¿No consultará el pueblo á su Dios? ¿Apelará por los vivos á los muertos?
And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
When they tell you, “Consult with those who have familiar spirits and with the wizards, who chirp and who mutter,” shouldn’t a people consult with their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?
Tirez-en un enseignement, une leçon: assurément, on proférera des paroles de ce genre qui n'ont pas une lueur de raison.
¡A la ley y al testimonio! Si no dijeren conforme á esto, es porque no les ha amanecido.
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Turn to the law and to the covenant! If they don’t speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.
Aussi les gens circulent-ils dans le pays misérables et affamés; quand la faim les presse, ils s'emportent, maudissent leur roi et leur Dieu et se tournent vers le ciel.
Y pasarán por él fatigados y hambrientos, y acontecerá que teniendo hambre, se enojarán y maldecirán á su rey y á su Dios, levantando el rostro en alto.
And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.
They will pass through it, very distressed and hungry. It will happen that when they are hungry, they will worry, and curse their king and their God. They will turn their faces upward,
Puis, ils regardent à terre, et voici, ce n'est que misère sombre, accablement et angoisses, et ténèbres sans limite.
Y mirarán á la tierra, y he aquí tribulación y tiniebla, oscuridad y angustia; y serán sumidos en las tinieblas.
And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.
then look to the earth and see distress, darkness, and the gloom of anguish. They will be driven into thick darkness.
Toutefois, l'accablement ne persistera pas là où est maintenant la détresse: naguère, la honte atteignit la terre de Zabulon et la terre de Nephtali, mais finalement, l'honneur sera rendu au pays qui s'étend vers la mer, ou au delà du Jourdain, au district des gentils.
