Du vermehrst (machst zahlreich) das Volk, für es hast du die Freude groß gemacht. Sie haben sich gefreut vor dir (deinem Angesicht) wie die Freude in der Erntezeit (Ernte), sie jubeln wie in ihrem Teilen der Beute.

El pueblo que andaba en tinieblas vió gran luz: los que moraban en tierra de sombra de muerte, luz resplandeció sobre ellos.

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. The light has shined on those who lived in the land of the shadow of death.
