(08-23) Doch bleibt nicht im Dunkel das Land, das bedrängt ist. Wie er in der ersten Zeit das Land Sebulon und das Land Naphtali gering machte, so wird er in der Folgezeit zu Ehren bringen den Weg am Meere, jenseits des Jordan, das Galiläa der Heiden.
AUNQUE no será esta oscuridad tal como la aflicción que le vino en el tiempo que livianamente tocaron la primera vez á la tierra de Zabulón, y á la tierra de Nephtalí; y después cuando agravaron por la vía de la mar, de esa parte del Jordán, en Galilea de las gentes.
Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.

(09-1) Das Volk, das in der Finsternis wandelt, sieht ein großes Licht, über den Bewohnern des Landes der Todesschatten geht eine Leuchte auf.
El pueblo que andaba en tinieblas vió gran luz: los que moraban en tierra de sombra de muerte, luz resplandeció sobre ellos.
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

(09-2) Du machst des Jubels viel, du machst seine Freude groß; sie werden sich vor dir freuen, wie man sich in der Ernte freut, wie die Sieger jubeln, wenn sie Beute teilen.
Aumentando la gente, no aumentaste la alegría. Alegraránse delante de ti como se alegran en la siega, como se gozan cuando reparten despojos.
Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

(09-3) Denn du hast das Joch, das auf ihm lastete, den Stecken, der seinen Rücken geschlagen hat, und die Rute seines Treibers zerbrochen wie am Tage Midians.
Porque tú quebraste su pesado yugo, y la vara de su hombro, y el cetro de su exactor, como en el día de Madián.

(09-4) Denn jeder Stiefel derer, die gestiefelt einhertreten im Schlachtgetümmel, und jedes blutbefleckte Kleid wird verbrannt und vom Feuer verzehrt.
Porque toda batalla de quien pelea es con estruendo, y con revolcamiento de vestidura en sangre: mas esto será para quema, y pábulo del fuego.
For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
For all the armor of the armed man in the noisy battle, and the garments rolled in blood, will be for burning, fuel for the fire.
(09-5) Denn uns ist ein Kind geboren, ein Sohn ist uns gegeben; und die Herrschaft kommt auf seine Schulter; und man nennt ihn: Wunderbar, Rat, starker Gott, Ewigvater, Friedefürst.
Porque un niño nos es nacido, hijo nos es dado; y el principado sobre su hombro: y llamaráse su nombre Admirable, Consejero, Dios fuerte, Padre eterno, Príncipe de paz.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

(09-6) Der Mehrung der Herrschaft und des Friedens wird kein Ende sein auf dem Throne Davids und in seinem Königreich, daß er es gründe und mit Recht und Gerechtigkeit befestige von nun an bis in Ewigkeit. Der Eifer des HERRN der Heerscharen wird solches tun!
Lo dilatado de su imperio y la paz no tendrán término, sobre el trono de David, y sobre su reino, disponiéndolo y confirmándolo en juicio y en justicia desde ahora para siempre. El celo de Jehová de los ejércitos hará esto.
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

(09-7) Ein Wort hat der Herr gegen Jakob gesandt, und es soll in Israel niederfallen.

(09-8) Erfahren soll es das ganze Volk, Ephraim und die zu Samaria wohnen; die im Stolz und Übermut des Herzens sagen:

(09-9) Ziegelsteine sind gefallen, wir aber wollen mit Quadern bauen; Maulbeerbäume wurden abgehauen, wir aber wollen Zedern dafür setzen!
Los ladrillos cayeron, mas edificaremos de cantería; cortaron los cabrahigos, mas cedros pondremos en su lugar.
The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.

(09-10) Doch der HERR hat die Feinde Rezins über ihn erhöht und seine Gegner aufgestachelt;
Empero Jehová ensalzará los enemigos de Rezín contra él, y juntará sus enemigos;

(09-11) die Syrer von vorn und die Philister von hinten fraßen Israel mit vollem Maul. Bei alledem hat sich sein Zorn nicht gewandt, seine Hand bleibt ausgestreckt.
De oriente los Siros, y los Filisteos de poniente; y con toda la boca se tragarán á Israel. Ni con todo eso ha cesado su furor, antes todavía su mano extendida.

(09-12) Denn auch das Volk hat sich nicht zu dem gewandt, der es schlägt, und es suchte den HERRN der Heerscharen nicht.

For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.

(09-13) Da hieb der HERR von Israel ab Kopf und Schwanz, Palmzweig und Binse an einem Tage.
Y Jehová cortará de Israel cabeza y cola, ramo y caña en un mismo día.

(09-14) Der Älteste und Angesehene ist der Kopf, und der Prophet, welcher Lügen lehrt, der Schwanz.
El viejo y venerable de rostro es la cabeza: el profeta que enseña mentira, este es cola.
The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.

(09-15) Die Führer dieses Volkes sind seine Verführer geworden, und die von ihnen Geführten sind verloren.
Porque los gobernadores de este pueblo son engañadores; y sus gobernados, perdidos.
For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
For those who lead this people lead them astray; and those who are led by them are destroyed.
(09-16) Darum freut sich auch der Herr nicht über ihre junge Mannschaft und hat kein Erbarmen mit ihren Waisen und Witwen; denn sie sind alle Frevler und Bösewichter, und jeder Mund redet Torheit! Bei alledem hat sich sein Zorn nicht gewandt, seine Hand bleibt ausgestreckt.
Por tanto, el Señor no tomará contentamiento en sus mancebos, ni de sus huérfanos y viudas tendrá misericordia: porque todos son falsos y malignos, y toda boca habla despropósitos. Con todo esto no ha cesado su furor, antes todavía su mano extendida.

(09-17) Denn das gottlose Wesen brannte wie ein Feuer, das Hecken und Dornen fraß und die dichten Wälder anzündete, daß Rauchsäulen emporwirbelten.
Porque la maldad se encendió como fuego, cardos y espinas devorará; y encenderáse en lo espeso de la breña, y serán alzados como humo.
For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.

(09-18) Durch den Zorn des HERRN ist das Land wie ausgebrannt und das Volk wie vom Feuer verzehrt; keiner schont des andern.
Por la ira de Jehová de los ejércitos se oscureció la tierra, y será el pueblo como pábulo del fuego: el hombre no tendrá piedad de su hermano.
Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.

(09-19) Man verschlingt zur Rechten und bleibt hungrig, man frißt zur Linken und wird nicht satt; schließlich frißt noch jeder das Fleisch seines eigenen Arms,
Cada uno hurtará á la mano derecha, y tendrá hambre; y comerá á la izquierda, y no se hartará: cada cual comerá la carne de su brazo:
And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:
One will devour on the right hand, and be hungry; and he will eat on the left hand, and they will not be satisfied. Everyone will eat the flesh of his own arm:
(09-20) Manasse den Ephraim und Ephraim den Manasse und diese beiden den Juda! Bei alledem hat sich sein Zorn nicht abgewandt; seine Hand bleibt ausgestreckt!
Manasés á Ephraim, y Ephraim á Manasés, y entrambos contra Judá. Ni con todo esto ha cesado su furor, antes todavía extendida su mano.
