Ihr Ehebrecherinnen, wisst ihr nicht, dass die Freundschaft der Welt Feindschaft gegen Gott ist? Wer nun irgend ein Freund der Welt sein will, stellt sich als Feind Gottes dar.

Adúlteros y adúlteras, ¿no sabéis que la amistad del mundo es enemistad con Dios? Cualquiera pues que quisiere ser amigo del mundo, se constituye enemigo de Dios.

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

You adulterers and adulteresses, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
