But he gives more grace. Wherefore he says, God sets himself against †the proud, but gives grace to †the lowly.

Mas él da mayor gracia. Por esto dice: Dios resiste á los soberbios, y da gracia á los humildes.

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
