Elías era un hombre pasible semejante a nosotros, y pidió fervorosamente que no lloviese sobre la tierra de Israel, y no llovió por espacio de tres años y seis meses.

Confesaos vuestras faltas unos á otros, y rogad los unos por los otros, para que seáis sanos; la oración del justo, obrando eficazmente, puede mucho.
