Or maintenant, vous riches, pleurez, et poussez de grands cris à cause des malheurs, qui s’en vont tomber sur vous.

EA ya ahora, oh ricos, llorad aullando por vuestras miserias que os vendrán.

Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.

Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

Voici, le salaire des ouvriers qui ont moissonné vos champs, et duquel ils ont été frustrés par vous, crie ; et les cris de ceux qui ont moissonné, sont parvenus aux oreilles du Seigneur des armées.

He aquí, el jornal de los obreros que han segado vuestras tierras, el cual por engaño no les ha sido pagado de vosotros, clama; y los clamores de los que habían segado, han entrado en los oídos del Señor de los ejércitos.

Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies.

Vous avez vécu dans les délices sur la terre, vous vous êtes livrés aux voluptés, et vous avez rassasié vos coeurs comme en un jour de sacrifices.

Habéis vivido en deleites sobre la tierra, y sido disolutos; habéis cebado vuestros corazones como en el día de sacrificios.

Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

Vous avez condamné, et mis à mort le juste, qui ne vous résiste point.

Habéis condenado y muerto al justo; y él no os resiste.

Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

Or donc, mes frères, attendez patiemment jusqu’à la venue du Seigneur ; voici, le laboureur attend le fruit précieux de la terre, patientant, jusqu’à ce qu’il reçoive la pluie de la première, et de la dernière saison.

Pues, hermanos, tened paciencia hasta la venida del Señor. Mirad cómo el labrador espera el precioso fruto de la tierra, aguardando con paciencia, hasta que reciba la lluvia temprana y tardía.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Vous donc aussi attendez patiemment, et affermissez vos coeurs ; car la venue du Seigneur est proche.

Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

Mes frères, prenez pour un exemple d’affliction et de patience les Prophètes qui ont parlé au Nom du Seigneur.

Hermanos míos, tomad por ejemplo de aflicción y de paciencia, á los profetas que hablaron en nombre del Señor.

Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

Voici, nous tenons pour bienheureux ceux qui ont souffert ; vous avez appris quelle a été la patience de Job, et vous avez vu la fin du Seigneur ; car le Seigneur est plein de compassion, et pitoyable.

He aquí, tenemos por bienaventurados á los que sufren. Habéis oído la paciencia de Job, y habéis visto el fin del Señor, que el Señor es muy misericordioso y piadoso.

Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

Or sur toutes choses, mes frères, ne jurez ni par le Ciel, ni par la terre, ni par quelque autre serment ; mais que votre oui soit Oui, et votre non, Non : afin que vous ne tombiez point dans la condamnation.

Mas sobre todo, hermanos míos, no juréis, ni por el cielo, ni por la tierra, ni por otro cualquier juramento; sino vuestro sí sea sí, y vuestro no sea no; porque no caigáis en condenación.

¿Está alguno enfermo entre vosotros? llame á los ancianos de la iglesia, y oren por él, ungiéndole con aceite en el nombre del Señor.

Et la prière faite avec foi sauvera le malade, et le Seigneur le relèvera ; et s’il a commis des péchés, ils lui seront pardonnés.

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Confessez vos fautes l’un à l’autre, et priez l’un pour l’autre ; afin que vous soyez guéris ; car la prière du juste faite avec véhémence est de grande efficace.

Confesaos vuestras faltas unos á otros, y rogad los unos por los otros, para que seáis sanos; la oración del justo, obrando eficazmente, puede mucho.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Elie était un homme sujet à de semblables infirmités que nous, et cependant ayant prié avec grande instance qu’il ne plût point, il ne tomba point de pluie sur la terre durant trois ans et six mois.

Elías era hombre sujeto á semejantes pasiones que nosotros, y rogó con oración que no lloviese, y no llovió sobre la tierra en tres años y seis meses.

Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

Qu’il sache que celui qui aura ramené un pécheur de son égarement, sauvera une âme de la mort, et couvrira une multitude de péchés. ===============================================================================

Sepa que el que hubiere hecho convertir al pecador del error de su camino, salvará un alma de muerte, y cubrirá multitud de pecados.
