Então eles destruíram os deuses estrangeiros que havia entre eles e serviram somente ao Senhor. E o Senhor já não pôde mais conter a sua compaixão por causa da angústia de Israel!

Y quitaron de entre sí los dioses ajenos, y sirvieron á Jehová: y su alma fué angustiada á causa del trabajo de Israel.
