Après cela, Israël a envoyé des messagers à Sehon, roi des Amorrhéens, roi d'Esebon, et Israël lui a dit : Permets que nous traversions ta terre jusqu'au pays qui nous appartient.

Y envió Israel embajadores á Sehón rey de los Amorrheos, rey de Hesbón, diciéndole: Ruégote que me dejes pasar por tu tierra hasta mi lugar.

And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon; and Israel said unto him, Let us pass, we pray thee, through thy land into my place.
