Et il arriva qu’aussitôt qu’il l’eut aperçue, il déchira ses vêtements, et dit : Ha ! ma fille, tu m’as entièrement abaissé, et tu es du nombre de ceux qui me troublent ; car j’ai ouvert ma bouche à l’Eternel, et je ne m’en pourrai point rétracter.
Y como él la vió, rompió sus vestidos diciendo: ¡Ay, hija mía! de verdad me has abatido, y tú eres de los que me afligen: porque yo he abierto mi boca á Jehová, y no podré retractarme.
And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back.
When he saw her, he tore his clothes, and said, “Alas, my daughter! You have brought me very low, and you are one of those who trouble me; for I have opened my mouth to the LORD, and I can’t go back.”
