23Ma la sua moglie gli disse: Se fosse piaciuto al Signore di farci morire, egli non avrebbe accettato l'olocausto, nè l'offerta dalla nostra mano, e non ci avrebbe fatte veder tutte queste cose; e in un tal tempo egli non ci avrebbe fatte intender cotali cose.

23But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these.
