16e che la moglie di Sansone gli ebbe pianto appresso, e dettogli: Tu mi hai pure in odio, e non mi ami; non hai tu proposto un enimma a' figliuoli del mio popolo? e tu non me l'hai dichiarato; e ch'egli le ebbe detto: Ecco, io non l'ho dichiarato nè a mio padre, nè a mia madre, e lo dichiarerei a te?

16Y lloró la mujer de Samsón delante de él, y dijo: Solamente me aborreces y no me amas, pues que no me declaras el enigma que propusiste á los hijos de mi pueblo. Y él respondió: He aquí que ni á mi padre ni á mi madre lo he declarado; y ¿habíalo de declarar á ti?

16And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?

16Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, “You just hate me, and don’t love me. You’ve told a riddle to the children of my people, and haven’t told it to me.” He said to her, “Behold, I haven’t told my father or my mother, so why should I tell you?”
