Y subió, y declarólo á su padre y á su madre, diciendo: Yo he visto en Timnah una mujer de las hijas de los Filisteos: ruégoos que me la toméis por mujer.

Et son père et sa mère lui dirent : N’y a-t-il point de femme parmi les filles de tes frères, et parmi tout mon peuple, que tu ailles prendre une femme d’entre les Philistins, ces incirconcis ? Et Samson dit à son père : Prenez-la moi, car elle plaît à mes yeux.
Y su padre y su madre le dijeron: ¿No hay mujer entre las hijas de tus hermanos, ni en todo mi pueblo, para que vayas tú á tomar mujer de los Filisteos incircuncisos? Y Samsón respondió á su padre: Tómamela por mujer, porque ésta agradó á mis ojos.
Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.

Mais son père et sa mère ne savaient pas que cela venait de l’Eternel ; car Samson cherchait que les Philistins lui donnassent quelque occasion. Or en ce temps-là les Philistins dominaient sur Israël.
Mas su padre y su madre no sabían que esto venía de Jehová, y que él buscaba ocasión contra los Filisteos: porque en aquel tiempo los Filisteos dominaban sobre Israel.
But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

Samson donc descendit avec son père et sa mère à Timna, et ils vinrent jusqu’aux vignes de Timna, et voici, un jeune lion rugissant venait contre lui.

Y volviendo después de algunos días para tomarla, apartóse para ver el cuerpo muerto del león, y he aquí en el cuerpo del león un enjambre de abejas, y un panal de miel.
And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.

Et il en prit en sa main, et s’en alla son chemin, en mangeant ; et étant arrivé vers son père, et vers sa mère, il leur en donna, et ils en mangèrent ; mais il ne leur déclara pas qu’il avait pris ce miel dans la charogne du lion.
Y tomándolo en sus manos, fuése comiéndolo por el camino: y llegado que hubo á su padre y á su madre, dióles también á ellos que comiesen; mas no les descubrió que había tomado aquella miel del cuerpo del león.
And he took thereof in his hands, and went on eating, and came to his father and mother, and he gave them, and they did eat: but he told not them that he had taken the honey out of the carcase of the lion.

Son père donc descendit vers cette femme, et Samson fit là un festin ; car c’est ainsi que les jeunes gens avaient accoutumé de faire.

Et Samson leur dit : Je vous proposerai maintenant une énigme ; et si vous me l’expliquez pendant les sept jours du festin, et la trouvez, je vous donnerai trente linges, savoir trente robes de rechange.
A los cuales Samsón dijo: Yo os propondré ahora un enigma, el cual si en los siete días del banquete vosotros me declarareis y descubriereis, yo os daré treinta sábanas y treinta mudas de vestidos.
And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments:
Samson said to them, “Let me tell you a riddle now. If you can tell me the answer within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing;
Mais si vous ne me l’expliquez pas, vous me donnerez trente linges, savoir trente robes de rechange. Et ils lui répondirent : Propose ton énigme, et nous l’entendrons.
Mas si no me lo supiereis declarar, vosotros me daréis las treinta sábanas y las treinta mudas de vestidos. Y ellos respondieron: Propónnos tu enigma, y lo oiremos.
But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.
but if you can’t tell me the answer, then you shall give me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing.” They said to him, “Tell us your riddle, that we may hear it.”
Et il leur dit : De celui qui dévorait est procédée la viande, et du fort est procédée la douceur. Mais ils ne purent en trois jours expliquer l’énigme.
Entonces les dijo: Del comedor salió comida, y del fuerte salió dulzura. Y ellos no pudieron declararle el enigma en tres días.
And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle.
He said to them, “Out of the eater came out food. Out of the strong came out sweetness.” They couldn’t in three days declare the riddle.
Et au septième jour, ils dirent à la femme de Samson : Persuade à ton mari de nous déclarer l’énigme, de peur que nous ne te brûlions au feu, toi et la maison de ton père. Nous avez-vous appelés ici pour avoir notre bien n’est-il pas ainsi ?
Y al séptimo día dijeron á la mujer de Samsón: Induce á tu marido á que nos declare este enigma, porque no te quememos á ti y á la casa de tu padre. ¿Habéisnos llamado aquí para poseernos?
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson’s wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?
On the seventh day, they said to Samson’s wife, “Entice your husband, that he may declare to us the riddle, lest we burn you and your father’s house with fire. Have you called us to impoverish us? Isn’t that so?”
La femme de Samson donc pleura auprès de lui, et dit : Certainement tu me hais, et tu ne m’aimes point ; n’as-tu pas proposé une énigme aux enfants de mon peuple, et tu ne me l’as point déclarée ? Et il lui répondit : Voici, je ne l’ai point déclarée à mon père ni à ma mère, et te la déclarerais-je ?
Y lloró la mujer de Samsón delante de él, y dijo: Solamente me aborreces y no me amas, pues que no me declaras el enigma que propusiste á los hijos de mi pueblo. Y él respondió: He aquí que ni á mi padre ni á mi madre lo he declarado; y ¿habíalo de declarar á ti?
And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?
Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, “You just hate me, and don’t love me. You’ve told a riddle to the children of my people, and haven’t told it to me.” He said to her, “Behold, I haven’t told my father or my mother, so why should I tell you?”
Elle pleurait ainsi auprès de lui durant les sept jours du festin, mais au septième jour il la lui déclara, parce qu’elle le tourmentait ; puis elle la déclara aux enfants de son peuple.

Les gens de la ville donc lui dirent au septième jour, avant que le soleil se couchât : Qu y a-t-il de plus doux que le miel, et qu’y a-t-il de plus fort que le lion ? Et il leur dit : Si vous n’eussiez point labouré avec ma génisse vous n’eussiez point trouvé mon énigme.
Y al séptimo día, antes que el sol se pusiese, los de la ciudad le dijeron: ¿Qué cosa más dulce que la miel? ¿y qué cosa más fuerte que el león?
And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.

Et l’Esprit de l’Eternel le saisit, et il descendit à Askelon, et ayant tué trente hommes de ceux d’Askelon, il prit leurs dépouilles, et donna les robes de rechange à ceux qui avaient expliqué l’énigme ; et sa colère s’enflamma, et il monta en la maison de son père.
Y él les respondió: Si no araseis con mi novilla, nunca hubierais descubierto mi enigma.
And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.
The LORD’s Spirit came mightily on him, and he went down to Ashkelon and struck thirty men of them. He took their plunder, then gave the changes of clothing to those who declared the riddle. His anger burned, and he went up to his father’s house.
Et la femme de Samson fut mariée à son compagnon, qui était son intime ami.
Y el espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y descendió á Ascalón, é hirió treinta hombres de ellos; y tomando sus despojos, dió las mudas de vestidos á los que habían explicado el enigma: y encendido en enojo fuése á casa de su padre. Y la mujer de Samsón fué dada á su compañero, con el cual él antes se acompañaba.
