Y subió, y declarólo á su padre y á su madre, diciendo: Yo he visto en Timnah una mujer de las hijas de los Filisteos: ruégoos que me la toméis por mujer.
And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.
He came up, and told his father and his mother, saying, “I have seen a woman in Timnah of the daughters of the Philistines. Now therefore get her for me as my wife.”
Da (und) sagten sein Vater und seine Mutter zu ihm: „Gibt es (ist) unter den Töchtern deiner Brüder und im ganzen Volk keine Frau, dass du jetzt hingehst, um dir eine Frau von den Philistern, den Unbeschnittenen zu nehmen?“ Da (und) sagte Simson zu seinem Vater: „Nimm mir diese, denn sie ist schön (richtig, gut) in meinen Augen.“
Y su padre y su madre le dijeron: ¿No hay mujer entre las hijas de tus hermanos, ni en todo mi pueblo, para que vayas tú á tomar mujer de los Filisteos incircuncisos? Y Samsón respondió á su padre: Tómamela por mujer, porque ésta agradó á mis ojos.
Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.
Then his father and his mother said to him, “Isn’t there a woman among your brothers’ daughters, or among all my people, that you go to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines?” Samson said to his father, “Get her for me, for she pleases me well.”
Allerdings (ja; und) wussten (verstanden, erkannten) sein Vater und seine Mutter nicht, dass dies von JHWH kam, denn er suchte eine Gelegenheit (Anlass) gegen die Philister. In jener Zeit herrschten nämlich (und) die Philister in Israel.
Mas su padre y su madre no sabían que esto venía de Jehová, y que él buscaba ocasión contra los Filisteos: porque en aquel tiempo los Filisteos dominaban sobre Israel.
But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

Daraufhin (also; und) gingen Simson und sein Vater und seine Mutter hinab nach Timna und kamen bis zu den Weinbergen von Timna, als (und) plötzlich ein junger Löwe {der Löwen} ihm brüllend entgegenkam (brüllte, um ihn zu treffen/ihm entgegen brüllte).

Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.

Da (und) drang der Geist JHWHs in ihn ein, und er zerriss ihn, wie man ein Böckchen zerreißt, obwohl (wobei; und) er nichts in seiner Hand hatte. Aber (und) er erzählte (berichtete) seinem Vater und seiner Mutter nicht, was er getan hatte (tat).
Y el espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y despedazólo como quien despedaza un cabrito, sin tener nada en su mano: y no dió á entender á su padre ni á su madre lo que había hecho.
And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.
The LORD’s Spirit came mightily on him, and he tore him as he would have torn a young goat with his bare hands, but he didn’t tell his father or his mother what he had done.
Danach (als; und) ging er hinab und redete mit der Frau, und sie war schön (richtig, gut) in Simsons Augen.

Als (und) er nach einigen Tagen zurückkam, um sie zu heiraten (sich zur Frau zu nehmen), {und} wich er von seinem Weg ab, um den Kadaver des Löwen zu sehen. Er erblickte ein Bienenschwarm im Körper (Kadaver) des Löwen und Honig.
Y volviendo después de algunos días para tomarla, apartóse para ver el cuerpo muerto del león, y he aquí en el cuerpo del león un enjambre de abejas, y un panal de miel.
And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.
After a while he returned to take her, and he went over to see the carcass of the lion; and behold, there was a swarm of bees in the body of the lion, and honey.
{Und} Er löste ihn heraus auf seine Handflächen (Hände) und aß beim Weitergehen. Er ging zu seinem Vater und seiner Mutter und gab ihnen etwas Honig, und sie aßen ihn. Allerdings (und) erzählte (berichtete) er ihnen nicht, dass er den Honig aus dem Körper (Kadaver) des Löwen herausgelöst hatte (herauslöste).
Y tomándolo en sus manos, fuése comiéndolo por el camino: y llegado que hubo á su padre y á su madre, dióles también á ellos que comiesen; mas no les descubrió que había tomado aquella miel del cuerpo del león.
And he took thereof in his hands, and went on eating, and came to his father and mother, and he gave them, and they did eat: but he told not them that he had taken the honey out of the carcase of the lion.

Danach (und) ging sein Vater zu der Frau, und (während) Simson veranstaltete (machte) dort ein Fest, weil (wie) es die jungen Männer so machten (machen).

So his father went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do.

{Und es geschah} Als sie (man) ihn sahen, da (und) holten (nahmen) sie (man) dreißig Gefährten, und (damit) sie waren bei ihm.
Y como ellos le vieron, tomaron treinta compañeros que estuviesen con él;
And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.

Und (da) Simson sagte zu ihnen: „Ich will (möchte; lasst mich) euch ein Rätsel geben. Wenn ihr mir die Lösung innerhalb der sieben Tage des Festes (Festmahls) tatsächlich verraten könnt und sie findet, dann (und) werde ich euch dreißig Leinenhemden und dreißig Wechselkleider geben.
A los cuales Samsón dijo: Yo os propondré ahora un enigma, el cual si en los siete días del banquete vosotros me declarareis y descubriereis, yo os daré treinta sábanas y treinta mudas de vestidos.
And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments:
Samson said to them, “Let me tell you a riddle now. If you can tell me the answer within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing;
Doch (und) wenn ihr mir die Lösung nicht verraten könnt, dann (und) müsst (werdet) (gebt) ihr mir dreißig Leinenhemden und dreißig Wechselkleider geben.“ Darauf (und) antworteten (sagten) sie ihm: „Gib uns dein Rätsel, {und} wir wollen es hören!“
Mas si no me lo supiereis declarar, vosotros me daréis las treinta sábanas y las treinta mudas de vestidos. Y ellos respondieron: Propónnos tu enigma, y lo oiremos.
But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.
but if you can’t tell me the answer, then you shall give me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing.” They said to him, “Tell us your riddle, that we may hear it.”
{und} Er sagte zu ihnen: „Vom Fresser (Essenden) kam (ging aus) Nahrung und vom Starken kam (ging aus) Süßes.“ Aber (und) sie konnten das Rätsel drei Tage lang (in) nicht lösen (verraten).
Entonces les dijo: Del comedor salió comida, y del fuerte salió dulzura. Y ellos no pudieron declararle el enigma en tres días.
And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle.
He said to them, “Out of the eater came out food. Out of the strong came out sweetness.” They couldn’t in three days declare the riddle.
{Und es geschah} Am vierten Tag sagten sie zu Simsons Frau: „Verleite (betöre) deinen Mann, damit (und) er für uns das Rätsel löst (verrät), sonst verbrennen wir dich und das Haus (Familie) deines Vaters {im Feuer}! Habt ihr uns eingeladen, um uns arm zu machen (zu vertreiben)? Oder etwa nicht (Nicht wahr)?“
Y al séptimo día dijeron á la mujer de Samsón: Induce á tu marido á que nos declare este enigma, porque no te quememos á ti y á la casa de tu padre. ¿Habéisnos llamado aquí para poseernos?
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson’s wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father’s house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?
On the seventh day, they said to Samson’s wife, “Entice your husband, that he may declare to us the riddle, lest we burn you and your father’s house with fire. Have you called us to impoverish us? Isn’t that so?”
Da (und) weinte Simsons Frau vor (auf, über) ihm und sagte: „Du hasst mich nur, und du liebst mich nicht! Du hast den Söhnen meines Volkes ein Rätsel aufgegeben, aber mir hast du die Lösung nicht verraten!“ Da (und) sagte er zu ihr: „Nicht einmal meinem Vater und meiner Mutter habe ich sie verraten. Sollte ich sie da (und) dir verraten?“
Y lloró la mujer de Samsón delante de él, y dijo: Solamente me aborreces y no me amas, pues que no me declaras el enigma que propusiste á los hijos de mi pueblo. Y él respondió: He aquí que ni á mi padre ni á mi madre lo he declarado; y ¿habíalo de declarar á ti?
And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?
Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, “You just hate me, and don’t love me. You’ve told a riddle to the children of my people, and haven’t told it to me.” He said to her, “Behold, I haven’t told my father or my mother, so why should I tell you?”
Da (und) weinte sie sieben Tage lang vor (auf, über) ihm, während sie das Fest veranstalteten. {da geschah es} Am siebten Tag verriet er ihr die Lösung des Rätsels, weil sie ihn so unter Druck setzte (zwang, drängte), und sie verriet die Lösung des Rätsels den Söhnen ihres Volkes.

And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay sore upon him: and she told the riddle to the children of her people.

Da (und) sagten die Männer der Stadt zu ihm am siebten Tag, bevor die Sonne unterging: „Was ist süßer als Honig? Und was ist stärker als ein Löwe?“ Da (und) sagte er zu ihnen: „Wenn ihr nicht mit meinem Kalb gepflügt hättet, dann hättet ihr die die Lösung des Rätsels nicht gefunden!“
Y al séptimo día, antes que el sol se pusiese, los de la ciudad le dijeron: ¿Qué cosa más dulce que la miel? ¿y qué cosa más fuerte que el león?
And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.
The men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down, “What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?” He said to them, “If you hadn’t plowed with my heifer, you wouldn’t have found out my riddle.”
{und} Der Geist JHWHs drang in (auf) ihn ein, {und} er ging {hinab} nach Aschkelon und tötete (erschlug) von ihnen dreißig Mann. {und} Er nahm ihre Ausrüstung (das, was sie anhatten) und gab die Wechselkleider denen, die das Rätsel gelöst (gesagt) hatten. {und} Sein Zorn (Gesicht) brannte und er ging {hinauf} zum Haus seines Vaters.

And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.
The LORD’s Spirit came mightily on him, and he went down to Ashkelon and struck thirty men of them. He took their plunder, then gave the changes of clothing to those who declared the riddle. His anger burned, and he went up to his father’s house.
Daraufhin (und) wurde Simsons Frau die Frau seines Begleiters (Freundes), der für ihn Brautführer (Gefährte) gewesen war.
Y el espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y descendió á Ascalón, é hirió treinta hombres de ellos; y tomando sus despojos, dió las mudas de vestidos á los que habían explicado el enigma: y encendido en enojo fuése á casa de su padre. Y la mujer de Samsón fué dada á su compañero, con el cual él antes se acompañaba.
