Or il arriva quelques jours après, au temps de la moisson des bleds, que Samson alla visiter sa femme, lui portant un chevreau de lait, et il dit : J’entrerai vers ma femme en sa chambre ; mais son père ne lui permit point d’y entrer ;

Y ACONTECIÓ después de días, que en el tiempo de la siega del trigo, Samsón visitó á su mujer con un cabrito, diciendo: Entraré á mi mujer á la cámara. Mas el padre de ella no lo dejó entrar.

But it came to pass within a while after, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in.

But after a while, in the time of wheat harvest, Samson visited his wife with a young goat. He said, “I will go in to my wife’s room.” But her father wouldn’t allow him to go in.

Car il lui dit : J’ai cru que tu avais certainement de l’aversion pour elle, c’est pourquoi je l’ai donnée à ton compagnon. Sa soeur puînée n’est-elle pas plus belle qu’elle ? je te prie donc qu’elle soit ta femme au lieu d’elle.

Y dijo el padre de ella: Persuadíme que la aborrecías, y díla á tu compañero. Mas su hermana menor, ¿no es más hermosa que ella? tómala, pues, en su lugar.

And her father said, I verily thought that thou hadst utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to thy companion: is not her younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray thee, instead of her.

Her father said, “I most certainly thought that you utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to your companion. Isn’t her younger sister more beautiful than she? Please, take her instead.”

Et Samson leur dit : A présent je serai innocent à l’égard des Philistins quand je leur ferai du mal.

Y Samsón les respondió: Yo seré sin culpa esta vez para con los Filisteos, si mal les hiciere.

And Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a displeasure.

Samson said to them, “This time I will be blameless in the case of the Philistines when I harm them.”

Samson donc s’en alla, et prit trois cents renards ; il prit aussi des flambeaux, et il tourna les renards queue contre queue, et mit un flambeau entre les deux queues, tout au milieu.

Y fué Samsón y cogió trescientas zorras, y tomando teas, y trabando aquéllas por las colas, puso entre cada dos colas una tea.

And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails.

Puis il mit le feu aux flambeaux, et lâcha les renards aux bleds des Philistins qui étaient sur le pied ; et il brûla tant le bled qui était en gerbes, que celui qui était sur le pied, même jusqu’aux vignes et aux oliviers.

Después, encendiendo las teas, echó las zorras en los sembrados de los Filisteos, y quemó hacinas y mieses, y viñas y olivares.

And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the vineyards and olives.

When he had set the torches on fire, he let them go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and burned up both the shocks and the standing grain, and also the olive groves.

Et les Philistins dirent : Qui a fait cela ? Et on répondit : Samson, le beau-fils du Timnien, parce qu’il lui a pris sa femme, et qu’il l’a donnée à son compagnon. Les Philistins donc montèrent, et la brûlèrent au feu, avec son père.

Y dijeron los Filisteos: ¿Quién hizo esto? Y fuéles dicho: Samsón, el yerno del Timnateo, porque le quitó su mujer y la dió á su compañero. Y vinieron los Filisteos, y quemaron á fuego á ella y á su padre.

Then the Philistines said, Who hath done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire.

Then the Philistines said, “Who has done this?” They said, “Samson, the son-in-law of the Timnite, because he has taken his wife and given her to his companion.” The Philistines came up, and burned her and her father with fire.

Alors Samson leur dit : Est-ce donc ainsi que vous faites ? Cependant je me vengerai de vous avant que je cesse.

Entonces Samsón les dijo: ¿Así lo habíais de hacer? mas yo me vengaré de vosotros, y después cesaré.

And Samson said unto them, Though ye have done this, yet will I be avenged of you, and after that I will cease.

Samson said to them, “If you behave like this, surely I will take revenge on you, and after that I will cease.”

Et il les battit entièrement, et en fit un grand carnage ; puis il descendit, et s’arrêta dans un quartier du rocher de Hétam.

E hiriólos pierna y muslo con gran mortandad; y descendió, y fijóse en la cueva de la peña de Etam.

And he smote them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam.

He struck them hip and thigh with a great slaughter; and he went down and lived in the cave in Etam’s rock.

Alors les Philistins montèrent, et se campèrent en Juda, et se répandirent en Léhi.

Y los Filisteos subieron y pusieron campo en Judá, y tendiéronse por Lehi.

Then the Philistines went up, and pitched in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi.

Et les hommes de Juda dirent : Pourquoi êtes-vous montés contre nous ? Ils répondirent : Nous sommes montés pour lier Samson, afin que nous lui fassions comme il nous a fait.

Y los varones de Judá les dijeron: ¿Por qué habéis subido contra nosotros? Y ellos respondieron: A prender á Samsón hemos subido, para hacerle como él nos ha hecho.

And the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done to us.

The men of Judah said, “Why have you come up against us?” They said, “We have come up to bind Samson, to do to him as he has done to us.”

Alors trois mille hommes de Juda descendirent vers le quartier du rocher de Hétam, et dirent à Samson : Ne sais-tu pas que les Philistins dominent sur nous ; pourquoi donc nous as-tu fait ceci ? Il leur répondit : Je leur ai fait comme ils m’ont fait.

Y vinieron tres mil hombres de Judá á la cueva de la peña de Etam, y dijeron á Samsón: ¿No sabes tú que los Filisteos dominan sobre nosotros? ¿por qué nos has hecho esto? Y él les respondió: Yo les he hecho como ellos me hicieron.

Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.

Then three thousand men of Judah went down to the cave in Etam’s rock, and said to Samson, “Don’t you know that the Philistines are rulers over us? What then is this that you have done to us?” He said to them, “As they did to me, so I have done to them.”

Ils lui dirent encore : Nous sommes descendus pour te lier, afin de te livrer entre les mains des Philistins. Et Samson leur dit : Jurez-moi que vous ne vous jetterez point sur moi.

Ellos entonces le dijeron: Nosotros hemos venido para prenderte, y entregarte en mano de los Filisteos. Y Samsón les respondió: Juradme que vosotros no me mataréis.

And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.

They said to him, “We have come down to bind you, that we may deliver you into the hand of the Philistines.” Samson said to them, “Swear to me that you will not attack me yourselves.”

Et ils répondirent, et dirent : Non, mais nous te lierons très- bien, afin de te livrer entre leurs mains ; mais nous ne te tuerons point. Ils le lièrent donc de deux cordes neuves, et le firent monter hors du rocher.

Y ellos le respondieron, diciendo: No, solamente te prenderemos, y te entregaremos en sus manos; mas no te mataremos. Entonces le ataron con dos cuerdas nuevas, é hiciéronle venir de la peña.

And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.

They spoke to him, saying, “No, but we will bind you securely and deliver you into their hands; but surely we will not kill you.” They bound him with two new ropes, and brought him up from the rock.

Or quand il fut venu jusqu’à Léhi, les Philistins jetèrent des cris de joie à sa rencontre, et l’esprit de l’Eternel le saisit, et les cordes qui étaient sur ses bras, devinrent comme du lin où l’on a mis le feu, et ses liens s’écoulèrent de dessus ses mains.

Y así que vino hasta Lehi, los Filisteos le salieron á recibir con algazara: y el espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y las cuerdas que estaban en sus brazos se tornaron como lino quemado con fuego, y las ataduras se cayeron de sus manos.

And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. Then the LORD’s Spirit came mightily on him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that was burned with fire; and his bands dropped from off his hands.

Et ayant trouvé une mâchoire d’âne qui n’était pas encore desséchée, il avança sa main, la prit, et il en tua mille hommes.

Y hallando una quijada de asno fresca, extendió la mano y tomóla, é hirió con ella á mil hombres.

And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.

He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, put out his hand, took it, and struck a thousand men with it.

Puis Samson dit : Avec une mâchoire d’âne, un monceau, deux monceaux ; avec une mâchoire d’âne j’ai tué mille hommes.

Entonces Samsón dijo: con la quijada de un asno, un montón, dos montones; con la quijada de un asno herí mil hombres.

And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.

Samson said, “With the jawbone of a donkey, heaps on heaps; with the jawbone of a donkey I have struck a thousand men.”

Et quand il eut achevé de parler, il jeta de sa main la mâchoire, et nomma ce lieu-là Ramath-léhi.

Y acabando de hablar, echó de su mano la quijada, y llamó á aquel lugar Ramath-lehi.

And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramath-lehi.

When he had finished speaking, he threw the jawbone out of his hand; and that place was called Ramath Lehi.

Et il eut une fort grande soif, et il cria à l’Eternel en disant : Tu as mis en la main de ton serviteur cette grande délivrance, et maintenant mourrais-je de soif, et tomberais-je entre les mains des incirconcis ?

Y teniendo gran sed, clamó luego á Jehová, y dijo: Tú has dado esta gran salud por mano de tu siervo: ¿y moriré yo ahora de sed, y caeré en mano de los incircuncisos?

And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?

He was very thirsty, and called on the LORD and said, “You have given this great deliverance by the hand of your servant; and now shall I die of thirst, and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Alors Dieu fendit une des grosses dents de cette mâchoire d’âne, et il en sortit de l’eau ; et quand Samson eut bu, l’esprit lui revint, et il reprit ses forces ;: c’est pourquoi ce lieu-là a été appelé jusqu’à ce jour Hen-hakkoré, qui est à Léhi.

Entonces quebró Dios una muela que estaba en la quijada, y salieron de allí aguas, y bebió, y recobró su espíritu, y reanimóse. Por tanto llamó su nombre de aquel lugar, En-haccore, el cual es en Lehi, hasta hoy.

But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof En-hakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.

But God split the hollow place that is in Lehi, and water came out of it. When he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived. Therefore its name was called En Hakkore, which is in Lehi, to this day.

Or Samson jugea Israël au temps des Philistins, vingt ans.

Y juzgó á Israel en días de los Filisteos veinte años.

And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.

He judged Israel twenty years in the days of the Philistines.
