Es begab sich aber nach einiger Zeit in den Tagen der Weizenernte, daß Simson sein Weib mit einem Ziegenböcklein besuchte. Als er aber sagte: Ich will zu meinem Weibe in die Kammer gehen, wollte ihr Vater ihn nicht hineinlassen.

Y ACONTECIÓ después de días, que en el tiempo de la siega del trigo, Samsón visitó á su mujer con un cabrito, diciendo: Entraré á mi mujer á la cámara. Mas el padre de ella no lo dejó entrar.

But it came to pass within a while after, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in.

But after a while, in the time of wheat harvest, Samson visited his wife with a young goat. He said, “I will go in to my wife’s room.” But her father wouldn’t allow him to go in.

Denn ihr Vater sprach: Ich dachte, du wärest ihr gram geworden, da habe ich sie deinem Gefährten gegeben! Ist nicht ihre jüngere Schwester schöner als sie? Die soll dein sein statt jener!

Y dijo el padre de ella: Persuadíme que la aborrecías, y díla á tu compañero. Mas su hermana menor, ¿no es más hermosa que ella? tómala, pues, en su lugar.

And her father said, I verily thought that thou hadst utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to thy companion: is not her younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray thee, instead of her.

Her father said, “I most certainly thought that you utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to your companion. Isn’t her younger sister more beautiful than she? Please, take her instead.”

Da sprach Simson zu ihnen: Diesmal bin ich unschuldig, wenn ich den Philistern Übles tue!

Y Samsón les respondió: Yo seré sin culpa esta vez para con los Filisteos, si mal les hiciere.

And Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a displeasure.

Samson said to them, “This time I will be blameless in the case of the Philistines when I harm them.”

Und Simson ging hin und fing dreihundert Füchse und nahm Fackeln, kehrte je einen Schwanz gegen den andern und tat je eine Fackel zwischen zwei Schwänze,

Y fué Samsón y cogió trescientas zorras, y tomando teas, y trabando aquéllas por las colas, puso entre cada dos colas una tea.

And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails.

Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took torches, and turned tail to tail, and put a torch in the middle between every two tails.

zündete dieselben mit Feuer an und ließ sie unter das Korn der Philister laufen und zündete also die Garben an samt dem stehenden Korn und den Olivengärten.

Después, encendiendo las teas, echó las zorras en los sembrados de los Filisteos, y quemó hacinas y mieses, y viñas y olivares.

And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the vineyards and olives.

When he had set the torches on fire, he let them go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and burned up both the shocks and the standing grain, and also the olive groves.

Da sprachen die Philister: Wer hat das getan? Da sagte man: Simson, der Tochtermann des Timniters, weil er ihm sein Weib genommen und sie seinem Gefährten gegeben hat! Da zogen die Philister hinauf und verbrannten sie samt ihrem Vater mit Feuer.

Y dijeron los Filisteos: ¿Quién hizo esto? Y fuéles dicho: Samsón, el yerno del Timnateo, porque le quitó su mujer y la dió á su compañero. Y vinieron los Filisteos, y quemaron á fuego á ella y á su padre.

Then the Philistines said, Who hath done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire.

Then the Philistines said, “Who has done this?” They said, “Samson, the son-in-law of the Timnite, because he has taken his wife and given her to his companion.” The Philistines came up, and burned her and her father with fire.

Simson aber sprach zu ihnen: Wenn ihr solches tut, so will ich nicht eher aufhören, als bis ich an euch Rache genommen habe!

Entonces Samsón les dijo: ¿Así lo habíais de hacer? mas yo me vengaré de vosotros, y después cesaré.

And Samson said unto them, Though ye have done this, yet will I be avenged of you, and after that I will cease.

Samson said to them, “If you behave like this, surely I will take revenge on you, and after that I will cease.”

Und er zerschlug ihnen Schenkel und Hüften mit gewaltigen Schlägen. Dann stieg er hinab und blieb in der Felsenkluft zu Etam.

E hiriólos pierna y muslo con gran mortandad; y descendió, y fijóse en la cueva de la peña de Etam.

And he smote them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam.

He struck them hip and thigh with a great slaughter; and he went down and lived in the cave in Etam’s rock.

Da zogen die Philister hinauf und lagerten sich in Juda und ließen sich nieder zu Lechi.

Y los Filisteos subieron y pusieron campo en Judá, y tendiéronse por Lehi.

Then the Philistines went up, and pitched in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi.

Then the Philistines went up, encamped in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi.

Aber die Männer von Juda sprachen: Warum seid ihr wider uns heraufgezogen? Sie antworteten: Wir sind heraufgekommen, Simson zu binden, um ihm zu tun, wie er uns getan hat!

Y los varones de Judá les dijeron: ¿Por qué habéis subido contra nosotros? Y ellos respondieron: A prender á Samsón hemos subido, para hacerle como él nos ha hecho.

And the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done to us.

The men of Judah said, “Why have you come up against us?” They said, “We have come up to bind Samson, to do to him as he has done to us.”

Da zogen dreitausend Mann von Juda hinab zur Felsenkluft von Etam und sprachen zu Simson: Weißt du nicht, daß die Philister über uns Herrschen? Warum hast du uns denn das getan? Er sprach zu ihnen: Wie sie mir getan haben, so habe ich ihnen getan.

Y vinieron tres mil hombres de Judá á la cueva de la peña de Etam, y dijeron á Samsón: ¿No sabes tú que los Filisteos dominan sobre nosotros? ¿por qué nos has hecho esto? Y él les respondió: Yo les he hecho como ellos me hicieron.

Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.

Then three thousand men of Judah went down to the cave in Etam’s rock, and said to Samson, “Don’t you know that the Philistines are rulers over us? What then is this that you have done to us?” He said to them, “As they did to me, so I have done to them.”

Sie sprachen zu ihm: Wir sind herabgekommen, um dich zu binden und in die Hand der Philister zu geben! Simson sprach zu ihnen: So schwört mir, daß ihr mich nicht töten wollt!

Ellos entonces le dijeron: Nosotros hemos venido para prenderte, y entregarte en mano de los Filisteos. Y Samsón les respondió: Juradme que vosotros no me mataréis.

And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.

They said to him, “We have come down to bind you, that we may deliver you into the hand of the Philistines.” Samson said to them, “Swear to me that you will not attack me yourselves.”

Sie antworteten ihm: Nein! wir wollen dich nur binden und in ihre Hand geben und wollen dich nicht töten! Und sie banden ihn mit zwei neuen Stricken und führten ihn von der Kluft herauf.

Y ellos le respondieron, diciendo: No, solamente te prenderemos, y te entregaremos en sus manos; mas no te mataremos. Entonces le ataron con dos cuerdas nuevas, é hiciéronle venir de la peña.

And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.

They spoke to him, saying, “No, but we will bind you securely and deliver you into their hands; but surely we will not kill you.” They bound him with two new ropes, and brought him up from the rock.

Als er nun nach Lechi kam, jauchzten ihm die Philister entgegen. Da kam der Geist des HERRN über ihn; und die Stricke an seinen Armen wurden wie Fäden, die das Feuer versengt hat, so daß die Bande von seinen Händen fielen.

Y así que vino hasta Lehi, los Filisteos le salieron á recibir con algazara: y el espíritu de Jehová cayó sobre él, y las cuerdas que estaban en sus brazos se tornaron como lino quemado con fuego, y las ataduras se cayeron de sus manos.

And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they met him. Then the LORD’s Spirit came mightily on him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that was burned with fire; and his bands dropped from off his hands.

Und er fand einen frischen Eselskinnbacken; da streckte er seine Hand aus und nahm ihn und erschlug damit tausend Mann.

Y hallando una quijada de asno fresca, extendió la mano y tomóla, é hirió con ella á mil hombres.

And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.

He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, put out his hand, took it, and struck a thousand men with it.

Und Simson sprach: «Mit dem Eselskinnbacken färbte ich sie rot, mit dem Eselskinnbacken schlug ich tausend Mann tot!»

Entonces Samsón dijo: con la quijada de un asno, un montón, dos montones; con la quijada de un asno herí mil hombres.

And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.

Samson said, “With the jawbone of a donkey, heaps on heaps; with the jawbone of a donkey I have struck a thousand men.”

Und als er diesen Ausspruch getan, warf er den Kinnbacken aus seiner Hand und hieß jenen Ort Ramat-Lechi.

Y acabando de hablar, echó de su mano la quijada, y llamó á aquel lugar Ramath-lehi.

And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramath-lehi.

When he had finished speaking, he threw the jawbone out of his hand; and that place was called Ramath Lehi.

Da ihn aber sehr dürstete, rief er den HERRN an und sprach: Du hast durch die Hand deines Knechtes dieses große Heil gegeben; soll ich nun aber vor Durst sterben und in die Hand der Unbeschnittenen fallen?

Y teniendo gran sed, clamó luego á Jehová, y dijo: Tú has dado esta gran salud por mano de tu siervo: ¿y moriré yo ahora de sed, y caeré en mano de los incircuncisos?

And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?

He was very thirsty, and called on the LORD and said, “You have given this great deliverance by the hand of your servant; and now shall I die of thirst, and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

Da spaltete Gott die Höhlung, die bei Lechi ist, so daß Wasser herausfloß; und als er trank, kehrte sein Geist wieder, und er lebte auf. Darum heißt man sie noch heute «Quelle des Anrufers»; sie ist bei Lechi.

Entonces quebró Dios una muela que estaba en la quijada, y salieron de allí aguas, y bebió, y recobró su espíritu, y reanimóse. Por tanto llamó su nombre de aquel lugar, En-haccore, el cual es en Lehi, hasta hoy.

But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof En-hakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.

But God split the hollow place that is in Lehi, and water came out of it. When he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived. Therefore its name was called En Hakkore, which is in Lehi, to this day.

Und er richtete Israel zur Zeit der Philister zwanzig Jahre lang.

Y juzgó á Israel en días de los Filisteos veinte años.

And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.

He judged Israel twenty years in the days of the Philistines.
