Es war einst ein Mann vom Gebirge Ephraim mit Namen Micha;

HUBO un hombre del monte de Ephraim, que se llamaba Michâs.

And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah.

der sagte zu seiner Mutter: »Die elfhundert Silberstücke, die dir entwendet worden sind und um derenwillen du einen Fluch ausgestoßen und ihn gar vor meinen Ohren ausgesprochen hast – wisse, das Geld ist in meinem Besitz: ich selbst habe es genommen; nun aber will ich es dir zurückgeben!« Da antwortete seine Mutter: »Gesegnet seist du vom HERRN, mein Sohn!«

El cual dijo á su madre: Los mil y cien siclos de plata que te fueron hurtados, por lo que tú maldecías oyéndolo yo, he aquí que yo tengo este dinero: yo lo había tomado. Entonces la madre dijo: Bendito seas de Jehová, hijo mío.

And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son.

He said to his mother, “The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse, and also spoke it in my ears—behold, the silver is with me. I took it.” His mother said, “May the LORD bless my son!”

Als er nun die elfhundert Silberstücke seiner Mutter zurückgegeben hatte, sagte diese: »Ich will das Geld dem HERRN weihen (und es) aus meiner Hand zugunsten meines Sohnes (hingeben): es soll ein geschnitztes und gegossenes Gottesbild davon angefertigt werden.«

Y luego que él hubo vuelto á su madre los mil y cien siclos de plata, su madre dijo: Yo he dedicado este dinero á Jehová de mi mano para ti, hijo mío, para que hagas una imagen de talla y de fundición: ahora pues, yo te lo devuelvo.

And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.

He restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother, then his mother said, “I most certainly dedicate the silver to the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a carved image and a molten image. Now therefore I will restore it to you.”

Als er nun das Geld seiner Mutter zurückgegeben hatte, nahm diese zweihundert Silberstücke und gab sie einem Goldschmied, der davon ein geschnitztes und gegossenes Gottesbild anfertigte, das nun im Hause Michas aufgestellt wurde.

Mas volviendo él á su madre los dineros, tomó su madre doscientos siclos de plata, y diólos al fundidor: y él le hizo de ellos una imagen de talla y de fundición, la cual fué puesta en casa de Michâs.

Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.

So besaß denn dieser Micha ein Gotteshaus; er ließ dann noch ein kostbares Schulterkleid und einen Hausgott anfertigen und stellte einen seiner Söhne an, daß er ihm (dem Micha) als Priester diente.

Y tuvo este hombre Michâs casa de dioses, é hízose hacer ephod y teraphim, y consagró uno de sus hijos; y fuéle por sacerdote.

Nun war da ein junger Mann aus Bethlehem in Juda aus dem Geschlecht Judas; der war ein Levit und hielt sich dort als Fremder auf.

Y había un joven de Beth-lehem de Judá, de la tribu de Judá, el cual era Levita; y peregrinaba allí.

And there was a young man out of Beth-lehem-judah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.

Dieser Mann verließ die Stadt Bethlehem in Juda, um sich an irgendeinem anderen Orte, wo es sich gerade träfe, als Fremder niederzulassen, und kam bei seiner Wanderung im Gebirge Ephraim zum Hause Michas.

Este hombre se había partido de la ciudad de Beth-lehem de Judá, para ir á vivir donde hallase; y llegando al monte de Ephraim, vino á casa de Michâs, para de allí hacer su camino.

And the man departed out of the city from Beth-lehem-judah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.

Dieser fragte ihn: »Woher kommst du?« Er antwortete ihm: »Ich bin ein Levit aus Bethlehem in Juda und bin unterwegs, um mich an irgendeinem Ort niederzulassen, wo ich etwas Geeignetes finde.«

Y Michâs le dijo: ¿De dónde vienes? Y el Levita le respondió: Soy de Beth-lehem de Judá, y voy á vivir donde hallare.

And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Beth-lehem-judah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.

Micah said to him, “Where did you come from?” He said to him, “I am a Levite of Bethlehem Judah, and I am looking for a place to live.”

Da sagte Micha zu ihm: »Bleibe bei mir und sei mir ein Vater und Priester, so will ich dir jährlich zehn Silberstücke geben und für Kleidung und deinen Lebensunterhalt aufkommen.« Als er dann dem Leviten weiter zuredete,

Entonces Michâs le dijo: Quédate en mi casa, y me serás en lugar de padre y sacerdote; y yo te daré diez siclos de plata por año, y el ordinario de vestidos, y tu comida. Y el Levita se quedó.

And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.

Micah said to him, “Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver per year, a suit of clothing, and your food.” So the Levite went in.

erklärte dieser sich einverstanden, bei dem Manne zu bleiben; und der junge Mann galt ihm wie einer seiner Söhne.

Acordó pues el Levita en morar con aquel hombre, y él lo tenía como á uno de sus hijos.

And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.

Micha nahm also den Leviten in seinen Dienst, so daß der junge Mann sein Priester wurde und im Hause Michas blieb.

Micha aber dachte: »Jetzt bin ich gewiß, daß der HERR es mir wird glücken lassen, weil ich einen Leviten zum Priester (gewonnen) habe.«

Y Michâs dijo: Ahora sé que Jehová me hará bien, pues que el Levita es hecho mi sacerdote.

Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.

Then Micah said, “Now I know that the LORD will do good to me, since I have a Levite as my priest.”
