Palabra de Dios para Ti
1Hubo también un hombre de la región montañosa de Efraín llamado Micaía,
2quien le dijo a su madre: Los 12,1 kilogramos de plata que te fueron robados, con respecto a los cuales pronunciaste maldición a mis oídos, mira, aquella plata está en mi poder. Yo la tomé. Y su madre le dijo: ¡Bendito seas por Yavé, hijo mío!
3Él devolvió los 12,1 kilogramos de plata a su madre, y ella dijo: En verdad dedico esta plata a Yavé para mi hijo, a fin de que haga una imagen tallada y otra de fundición. Ahora pues, te la devuelvo.
4Sin embargo, él devolvió la plata a su madre. Ella tomó 2,2 kilogramos de plata, los entregó al fundidor, el cual hizo con ellos una imagen tallada y otra de fundición, las cuales quedaron en la casa de Micaía.
5De manera que Micaía tuvo un santuario. Hizo un efod e ídolos domésticos y consagró a uno de sus hijos para que fuera su sacerdote.
6En aquellos días no había rey en Israel, y cada uno hacía lo que le parecía recto.
7Hubo también un joven de Belén de Judá, de la familia de Judá, el cual era levita, y vivía allí como forastero.
8Este hombre salió de la ciudad de Belén de Judá para residir donde hallara lugar. Cuando caminaba por la región montañosa de Efraín llegó hasta la casa de Micaía.
9Micaía le dijo: ¿De dónde vienes? Y le respondió: Soy levita de Belén de Judá, y voy a residir donde halle lugar.
10Micaía le dijo: Quédate conmigo. Me servirás de padre y sacerdote, y te daré 1,1 kilogramos de plata por año, tu ropa y tu comida. Y el levita se quedó.
11El levita convino en vivir con aquel hombre, y el joven fue para él como uno de sus hijos.
12Micaía consagró al levita, y el joven fue su sacerdote y vivía en casa de Micaía.
13Y Micaía dijo: ¡Ahora sé que Yavé me prosperará porque tengo a un levita como sacerdote!

1HUBO un hombre del monte de Ephraim, que se llamaba Michâs.
2El cual dijo á su madre: Los mil y cien siclos de plata que te fueron hurtados, por lo que tú maldecías oyéndolo yo, he aquí que yo tengo este dinero: yo lo había tomado. Entonces la madre dijo: Bendito seas de Jehová, hijo mío.
3Y luego que él hubo vuelto á su madre los mil y cien siclos de plata, su madre dijo: Yo he dedicado este dinero á Jehová de mi mano para ti, hijo mío, para que hagas una imagen de talla y de fundición: ahora pues, yo te lo devuelvo.
4Mas volviendo él á su madre los dineros, tomó su madre doscientos siclos de plata, y diólos al fundidor: y él le hizo de ellos una imagen de talla y de fundición, la cual fué puesta en casa de Michâs.
5Y tuvo este hombre Michâs casa de dioses, é hízose hacer ephod y teraphim, y consagró uno de sus hijos; y fuéle por sacerdote.
6En estos días no había rey en Israel: cada uno hacía como mejor le parecía.
7Y había un joven de Beth-lehem de Judá, de la tribu de Judá, el cual era Levita; y peregrinaba allí.
8Este hombre se había partido de la ciudad de Beth-lehem de Judá, para ir á vivir donde hallase; y llegando al monte de Ephraim, vino á casa de Michâs, para de allí hacer su camino.
9Y Michâs le dijo: ¿De dónde vienes? Y el Levita le respondió: Soy de Beth-lehem de Judá, y voy á vivir donde hallare.
10Entonces Michâs le dijo: Quédate en mi casa, y me serás en lugar de padre y sacerdote; y yo te daré diez siclos de plata por año, y el ordinario de vestidos, y tu comida. Y el Levita se quedó.
11Acordó pues el Levita en morar con aquel hombre, y él lo tenía como á uno de sus hijos.
12Y Michâs consagró al Levita, y aquel joven le servía de sacerdote, y estaba en casa de Michâs.
13Y Michâs dijo: Ahora sé que Jehová me hará bien, pues que el Levita es hecho mi sacerdote.

1And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
2And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the LORD, my son.
3And when he had restored the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.
4Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.
5And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
6In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
7And there was a young man out of Beth-lehem-judah of the family of Judah, who was a Levite, and he sojourned there.
8And the man departed out of the city from Beth-lehem-judah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
9And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Beth-lehem-judah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.
10And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.
11And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.
12And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
13Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.

1There was a man of the hill country of Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
2He said to his mother, “The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse, and also spoke it in my ears—behold, the silver is with me. I took it.” His mother said, “May the LORD bless my son!”
3He restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother, then his mother said, “I most certainly dedicate the silver to the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a carved image and a molten image. Now therefore I will restore it to you.”
4When he restored the money to his mother, his mother took two hundred pieces of silver, and gave them to a silversmith, who made a carved image and a molten image out of it. It was in the house of Micah.
5The man Micah had a house of gods, and he made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
6In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did that which was right in his own eyes.
7There was a young man out of Bethlehem Judah, of the family of Judah, who was a Levite; and he lived there.
8The man departed out of the city, out of Bethlehem Judah, to live where he could find a place, and he came to the hill country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, as he traveled.
9Micah said to him, “Where did you come from?” He said to him, “I am a Levite of Bethlehem Judah, and I am looking for a place to live.”
10Micah said to him, “Dwell with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver per year, a suit of clothing, and your food.” So the Levite went in.
11The Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was to him as one of his sons.
12Micah consecrated the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
13Then Micah said, “Now I know that the LORD will do good to me, since I have a Levite as my priest.”
