E aconteceu depois da morte de Josué, que os filhos de Israel consultaram ao SENHOR, dizendo: Quem subirá por nós primeiro para lutar contra os cananeus?

Y ACONTECIÓ después de la muerte de Josué, que los hijos de Israel consultaron á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Quién subirá por nosotros el primero á pelear contra los Cananeos?

Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?

After the death of Joshua, the children of Israel asked of the LORD, saying, “Who should go up for us first against the Canaanites, to fight against them?”

E o SENHOR respondeu: Judá subirá; eis que eu entreguei a terra em suas mãos.

Y Jehová respondió: Judá subirá; he aquí que yo he entregado la tierra en sus manos.

And the LORD said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.

E Judá disse a Simeão seu irmão: Sobe comigo à minha porção, e lutemos contra os cananeus, e eu também irei contigo à tua porção. E Simeão foi com ele.

And Judah said unto Simeon his brother, Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will go with thee into thy lot. So Simeon went with him.

E subiu Judá, e o SENHOR entregou em suas mãos aos cananeus e aos perizeus; e deles feriram em Bezeque dez mil homens.

Y subió Judá, y Jehová entregó en sus manos al Cananeo y al Pherezeo; y de ellos hirieron en Bezec diez mil hombres.

And Judah went up; and the LORD delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand: and they slew of them in Bezek ten thousand men.

E acharam a Adoni-Bezeque em Bezeque, e lutaram contra ele: e feriram aos cananeus e aos perizeus.

Então disse Adoni-Bezeque: Setenta reis, cortados os polegares de suas mãos e de seus pés, colhiam as migalhas debaixo de minha mesa: como eu fiz, assim Deus me pagou. E meteram-no em Jerusalém, de onde morreu.

Entonces dijo Adoni-bezec: Setenta reyes, cortados los pulgares de sus manos y de sus pies, cogían las migajas debajo de mi mesa: como yo hice, así me ha pagado Dios. Y metiéronle en Jerusalem, donde murió.

And Adoni-bezek said, Threescore and ten kings, having their thumbs and their great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table: as I have done, so God hath requited me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.

E combateram os filhos de Judá a Jerusalém, e a tomaram, e puseram à espada, e puseram a fogo a cidade.

Y habían combatido los hijos de Judá á Jerusalem, y la habían tomado, y metido á cuchillo, y puesto á fuego la ciudad.

Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on fire.

Depois os filhos de Judá desceram para lutar contra os cananeus que habitavam nas montanhas, e ao sul, e nas planícies.

And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites, that dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in the valley.

E partiu Judá contra os cananeus que habitavam em Hebrom, a qual se chamava antes Quiriate-Arba; e feriram a Sesai, e a Aimã, e a Talmai.

Y partió Judá contra el Cananeo que habitaba en Hebrón, la cual se llamaba antes Chîriath-arba; é hirieron á Sesai, y á Ahiman, y á Talmai.

And Judah went against the Canaanites that dwelt in Hebron: (now the name of Hebron before was Kirjath-arba:) and they slew Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai.

E dali foi aos que habitavam em Debir, que antes se chamava Quiriate-Sefer.

Y de allí fué á los que habitaban en Debir, que antes se llamaba Chîriath-sepher.

And from thence he went against the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjath-sepher:

E disse Calebe: O que ferir a Quiriate-Sefer, e a tomar, eu lhe darei a Acsa minha filha por mulher.

Y dijo Caleb: El que hiriere á Chîriath-sepher, y la tomare, yo le daré á Axa mi hija por mujer.

And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.

E tomou-a Otniel filho de Quenaz, irmão menor de Calebe: e ele lhe deu a Acsa sua filha por mulher.

And Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.

E quando a levavam, persuadiu-lhe que pedisse a seu pai um campo. E ela desceu do asno, e Calebe lhe disse: Que tens?

Y cuando la llevaban, persuadióle que pidiese á su padre un campo. Y ella se apeó del asno, y Caleb le dijo: ¿Qué tienes?

And it came to pass, when she came to him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted from off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wilt thou?

When she came, she got him to ask her father for a field. She got off her donkey; and Caleb said to her, “What would you like?”

Ela então lhe respondeu: Dá-me uma bênção: pois me deste terra de secura, que me dês também fontes de águas. Então Calebe lhe deu as fontes de acima e as fontes de abaixo.

And she said unto him, Give me a blessing: for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And Caleb gave her the upper springs and the nether springs.

She said to him, “Give me a blessing; because you have set me in the land of the South, give me also springs of water.” Then Caleb gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

E os filhos de queneu, sogro de Moisés, subiram da cidade das palmeiras com os filhos de Judá ao deserto de Judá, que está ao sul de Arade: e foram e habitaram com o povo.

Y los hijos de Cineo, suegro de Moisés, subieron de la ciudad de las palmas con los hijos de Judá al desierto de Judá, que está al mediodía de Arad: y fueron y habitaron con el pueblo.

And the children of the Kenite, Moses’ father in law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.

E foi Judá ao seu irmão Simeão, e feriram aos cananeus que habitavam em Zefate, e assolaram-na: e puseram por nome à cidade, Hormá.

E o SENHOR foi com Judá, e expulsaram os das montanhas; mas não puderam expulsar os que habitavam nas planícies, os quais tinham carros de ferro.

Y fué Jehová con Judá, y echó á los de las montañas; mas no pudo echar á los que habitaban en los llanos, los cuales tenían carros herrados.

And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.

E deram Hebrom a Calebe, como Moisés havia dito: e ele expulsou dali três filhos de Anaque.

And the children of Benjamin did not drive out the Jebusites that inhabited Jerusalem; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Benjamin in Jerusalem unto this day.

Também os da casa de José subiram a Betel; e o SENHOR foi com eles.

E os que espiavam viram um homem que saía da cidade, e disseram-lhe: Mostra-nos agora a entrada da cidade, e faremos contigo misericórdia.

Y los que espiaban vieron un hombre que salía de la ciudad, y dijéronle: Muéstranos ahora la entrada de la ciudad, y haremos contigo misericordia.

And the spies saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said unto him, Shew us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will shew thee mercy.

E ele lhes mostrou a entrada à cidade, e feriram-na a fio de espada; mas deixaram a aquele homem com toda sua família.

E os amorreus quiseram habitar no monte de Heres, em Aijalom e em Saalbim; mas a mão da tribo de José foi mais forte, e os fizeram tributários.

E o limite dos amorreus foi desde a subida de Acrabim, desde a rocha, e daí acima.

And the coast of the Amorites was from the going up to Akrabbim, from the rock, and upward.
