Or noi non possiam dar loro mogli delle nostre figliuole; conciossiachè i figliuoli d'Israele abbiano giurato, dicendo: Maledetto sia chi darà moglie a' Beniaminiti.

Nosotros empero, no les podemos dar mujeres de nuestras hijas, porque los hijos de Israel han jurado, diciendo: Maldito el que diere mujer á Benjamín.

Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin.
