Nós não podemos lhes dar nossas filhas como esposas, pois o povo de Israel fez uma promessa: 'Maldito seja qualquer um que der uma esposa a Benjamim”.

Nosotros empero, no les podemos dar mujeres de nuestras hijas, porque los hijos de Israel han jurado, diciendo: Maldito el que diere mujer á Benjamín.

Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin.
