And the people came to the house of God, and abode there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore;

und sprachen: 0 HERR, Gott von Israel, warum istdas geschehen in Israel, daß heute eines Stammes von Israel weniger worden ist?
Oh Jehová Dios de Israel, ¿por qué ha sucedido esto en Israel, que falte hoy de Israel una tribu?
And said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?
They said, “The LORD, the God of Israel, why has this happened in Israel, that there should be one tribe lacking in Israel today?”
Des andern Morgens machte sich das Volk frühe auf und bauete da einen Altar und opferten Brandopfer und Dankopfer.

Und die Kinder Israel sprachen: Wer ist irgend von den Stammen Israels, der nicht mit der Gemeine ist heraufkommen zum HERRN? Denn es war ein grofter Eid geschehen, daß, wer nicht hinaufkame zum HERRN gen Mizpa, der sollte des Todes sterben.
Y dijeron los hijos de Israel: ¿Quién de todas las tribus de Israel no subió á la reunión cerca de Jehová? Porque se había hecho gran juramento contra el que no subiese á Jehová en Mizpa, diciendo: Sufrirá muerte.
And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto the LORD? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put to death.

Y los hijos de Israel se arrepintieron á causa de Benjamín su hermano, y dijeron: Una tribu es hoy cortada de Israel.
And the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.

Wie wollen wir ihnen tun, daß die ubrigen Weiber kriegen? Denn wir haben geschworen bei dem HERRN, daß wir ihnen von unsern Tochtern nicht Weiber geben.
¿Qué haremos en cuanto á mujeres para los que han quedado? Nosotros hemos jurado por Jehová que no les hemos de dar nuestras hijas por mujeres.
How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?

Und sprachen: Wer ist irgend von den Stammen Israels, die nicht hinaufkommen sind zum HERRN gen Mizpa? Und siehe, da war niemand gewesen im Lager der Gemeine von Jabes in Gilead.
Y dijeron: ¿Hay alguno de las tribus de Israel que no haya subido á Jehová en Mizpa? Y hallaron que ninguno de Jabes-galaad había venido al campo á la reunión:
And they said, What one is there of the tribes of Israel that came not up to Mizpeh to the LORD? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabesh-gilead to the assembly.

Und siefanden bei den Burgern zu Jabes in Gilead vierhundert Dirnen, die Jungfrauen und bei keinem Mann gelegen waren. Die brachten sie ins Lager gen Silo, die da liegt im Lande Kanaan.
Y hallaron de los moradores de Jabes-galaad cuatrocientas doncellas que no habían conocido hombre en ayuntamiento de varón, y trajéronlas al campo en Silo, que es en la tierra de Canaán.
And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any male: and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.

Und sprachen: Die ubrigen von Benjamin müssen ja ihr Erbe behalten, daß nicht ein Stamm ausgetilget werde von Israel.

Und sie sprachen: Siehe, es ist ein Jahrfestdes HERRN zu Silo, die zu mitternachtwarts liegt gegen Bethel, gegen der Sonnen Aufgang, auf der Strafte, da man hinaufgehet von Bethel gen Sichem; und von mittagwarts liegt sie gegen Libona.

And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

Die Kinder Benjamin taten also und nahmen Weiber nach ihrer Zahl von den Reigen, die sie raubten; und zogen hin und wohneten in ihrem Erbteil; und baueten Stadte und wohneten drinnen.
