Y LOS varones de Israel habían jurado en Mizpa, diciendo: Ninguno de nosotros dará su hija á los de Benjamín por mujer.
Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife.

Y vino el pueblo á la casa de Dios, y estuviéronse allí hasta la tarde delante de Dios; y alzando su voz hicieron gran llanto, y dijeron:
And the people came to the house of God, and abode there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore;

und sprachen: Warum, HERR, Gott Israels, ist dieses in Israel geschehen, dass heute ein Stamm aus Israel vermisst wird?
Oh Jehová Dios de Israel, ¿por qué ha sucedido esto en Israel, que falte hoy de Israel una tribu?
And said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?
They said, “The LORD, the God of Israel, why has this happened in Israel, that there should be one tribe lacking in Israel today?”
Und es geschah am anderen Tag, da machte sich das Volk früh auf, und sie bauten dort einen Altar und opferten Brandopfer und Friedensopfer.

Und die Kinder Israel sprachen: Wer von allen Stämmen Israels ist nicht in die Versammlung zu dem HERRN heraufgekommen? Denn ein großer Schwur war geschehen bezüglich dessen, der nicht zu dem HERRN nach Mizpa heraufkäme, indem man sprach: Er soll gewisslich getötet werden!
Y dijeron los hijos de Israel: ¿Quién de todas las tribus de Israel no subió á la reunión cerca de Jehová? Porque se había hecho gran juramento contra el que no subiese á Jehová en Mizpa, diciendo: Sufrirá muerte.
And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto the LORD? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put to death.
The children of Israel said, “Who is there among all the tribes of Israel who didn’t come up in the assembly to the LORD?” For they had made a great oath concerning him who didn’t come up to the LORD to Mizpah, saying, “He shall surely be put to death.”

Y los hijos de Israel se arrepintieron á causa de Benjamín su hermano, y dijeron: Una tribu es hoy cortada de Israel.
And the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.
The children of Israel grieved for Benjamin their brother, and said, “There is one tribe cut off from Israel today.
Was sollen wir ihnen, den Übriggebliebenen, tun bezüglich der Frauen? Wir haben ja bei dem HERRN geschworen, ihnen keine von unseren Töchtern zu Frauen zu geben.
¿Qué haremos en cuanto á mujeres para los que han quedado? Nosotros hemos jurado por Jehová que no les hemos de dar nuestras hijas por mujeres.
How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?
How shall we provide wives for those who remain, since we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?”
Und sie sprachen: Gibt es irgendeinen von den Stämmen Israels, der nicht zu dem HERRN nach Mizpa heraufgekommen ist? Und siehe, kein Mann von Jabes-Gilead war ins Lager, in die Versammlung, gekommen.
Y dijeron: ¿Hay alguno de las tribus de Israel que no haya subido á Jehová en Mizpa? Y hallaron que ninguno de Jabes-galaad había venido al campo á la reunión:
And they said, What one is there of the tribes of Israel that came not up to Mizpeh to the LORD? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabesh-gilead to the assembly.
They said, “What one is there of the tribes of Israel who didn’t come up to the LORD to Mizpah?” Behold, no one came from Jabesh Gilead to the camp to the assembly.

Und sie fanden unter den Bewohnern von Jabes-Gilead 400 Mädchen, Jungfrauen, die keinen Mann im Beischlaf erkannt hatten; und sie brachten sie ins Lager nach Silo, das im Land Kanaan ist.
Y hallaron de los moradores de Jabes-galaad cuatrocientas doncellas que no habían conocido hombre en ayuntamiento de varón, y trajéronlas al campo en Silo, que es en la tierra de Canaán.
And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any male: and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.

Und die Ältesten der Gemeinde sprachen: Was sollen wir den Übriggebliebenen tun bezüglich der Frauen? Denn die Frauen sind aus Benjamin vertilgt.

Then the elders of the congregation said, How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?
Then the elders of the congregation said, “How shall we provide wives for those who remain, since the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?”
Und sie sprachen: Ein Besitztum soll sein für die Entkommenen von Benjamin, damit nicht ein Stamm aus Israel ausgetilgt werde.
Y dijeron: La heredad de los que han escapado ha de ser lo que era de Benjamín, porque no sea una tribu raída de Israel.
And they said, There must be an inheritance for them that be escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe be not destroyed out of Israel.

Wir aber, wir können ihnen keine Frauen von unseren Töchtern geben; denn die Kinder Israel haben geschworen und gesagt: Verflucht sei, wer den Benjaminitern eine Frau gibt!
Nosotros empero, no les podemos dar mujeres de nuestras hijas, porque los hijos de Israel han jurado, diciendo: Maldito el que diere mujer á Benjamín.
Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin.

Und sie sprachen: Siehe, ein Fest des HERRN ist von Jahr zu Jahr in Silo, das nördlich von Bethel, gegen Sonnenaufgang von der Landstraße, die von Bethel nach Sichem hinaufgeht, und südlich von Lebona liegt.

Then they said, Behold, there is a feast of the LORD in Shiloh yearly in a place which is on the north side of Beth-el, on the east side of the highway that goeth up from Beth-el to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.

And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

Und es soll geschehen, wenn ihre Väter oder ihre Brüder kommen, um mit uns zu rechten, so wollen wir zu ihnen sagen: Gewährt sie uns! Denn wir haben nicht jeder seine Frau im Krieg empfangen; denn nicht ihr habt sie ihnen gegeben, dass ihr jetzt schuldig wärt.
Y cuando vinieren los padres de ellas ó sus hermanos á demandárnoslo, nosotros les diremos: Tened piedad de nosotros en lugar de ellos: pues que nosotros en la guerra no tomamos mujeres para todos: que vosotros no se las habéis dado, para que ahora seáis culpables.
And it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren come unto us to complain, that we will say unto them, Be favourable unto them for our sakes: because we reserved not to each man his wife in the war: for ye did not give unto them at this time, that ye should be guilty.
It shall be, when their fathers or their brothers come to complain to us, that we will say to them, ‘Grant them graciously to us, because we didn’t take for each man his wife in battle, neither did you give them to them; otherwise you would now be guilty.’”
Und die Kinder Benjamin taten so und nahmen sich Frauen, nach ihrer Zahl, von den Tänzerinnen, die sie raubten. Und sie zogen fort und kehrten in ihr Erbteil zurück; und sie bauten die Städte wieder auf und wohnten darin.
Y los hijos de Benjamín lo hicieron así; pues tomaron mujeres conforme á su número, pillando de las que danzaban; y yéndose luego, tornáronse á su heredad, y reedificaron las ciudades, y habitaron en ellas.
And the children of Benjamin did so, and took them wives, according to their number, of them that danced, whom they caught: and they went and returned unto their inheritance, and repaired the cities, and dwelt in them.
