And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto the LORD? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put to death.

C’est alors qu’ils s’informèrent si quelqu’un, parmi les tribus d’Israël, ne s’était pas rendu à Miçpa devant l’Eternel, et il se trouva que nul homme de Jabès-Galaad n’était venu au camp, dans la réunion.
Y dijeron: ¿Hay alguno de las tribus de Israel que no haya subido á Jehová en Mizpa? Y hallaron que ninguno de Jabes-galaad había venido al campo á la reunión:

Ainsi firent les enfants de Benjamin: ils enlevèrent, parmi les danseuses, un nombre de femmes égal au leur et les prirent pour épouses; puis ils s’en retournèrent dans leur territoire héréditaire, rebâtirent les villes et s’y établirent.
