ORA l'Angelo del Signore salì di Ghilgal in Bochim, e disse: Io vi ho fatti salir fuori di Egitto, e vi ho condotti nel paese, il quale io avea giurato a' vostri padri; e ho detto; Io non annullerò giammai in eterno il mio patto con voi.
Y El ángel de Jehová subió de Gilgal á Bochîm, y dijo: Yo os saqué de Egipto, y os introduje en la tierra de la cual había jurado á vuestros padres; y dije: No invalidaré jamás mi pacto con vosotros;
And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

Ma voi altresì non patteggiate con gli abitanti di questo paese; disfate i loro altari; ma voi non avete ubbidito alla mia voce; che cosa è questa che voi avete fatta?
Con tal que vosotros no hagáis alianza con los moradores de aquesta tierra, cuyos altares habéis de derribar: mas vosotros no habéis atendido á mi voz: ¿por qué habéis hecho esto?
And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?
You shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land. You shall break down their altars.’ But you have not listened to my voice. Why have you done this?
Perciò io altresì ho detto: Io non li scaccerò d'innanzi a voi; anzi vi saranno a' fianchi, e i lor dii vi saranno per laccio.
Por tanto yo también dije: No los echaré de delante de vosotros, sino que os serán por azote para vuestros costados, y sus dioses por tropiezo.
Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.

E mentre l'Angelo del Signore diceva queste parole a tutti i figliuoli d'Israele, il popolo alzò la voce, e pianse.
Y como el ángel de Jehová habló estas palabras á todos los hijos de Israel, el pueblo lloró en alta voz.
And it came to pass, when the angel of the LORD spake these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.

Dovunque uscivano, la mano del Signore era contro a loro in male, come il Signore avea loro detto e giurato; onde furono grandemente distretti.
Por donde quiera que salían, la mano de Jehová era contra ellos para mal, como Jehová había dicho, y como Jehová se lo había jurado; así los afligió en gran manera.

Ma non pure a' lor Giudici ubbidivano; anzi andavano fornicando dietro ad altri dii, e li adoravano; subito si rivolgevano dalla via, per la quale erano camminati i lor padri, ubbidendo a' comandamenti del Signore; essi non facevano già così.

And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they did not so.

E pure, quando il Signore suscitava loro de' Giudici, il Signore era col Giudice, e li liberava dalla mano de'lor nemici, tutto il tempo del Giudice; perciocchè il Signore si pentiva, per li loro sospiri, che gittavano per cagion di coloro che li oppressavano, e tenevano in distretta.
Y cuando Jehová les suscitaba jueces, Jehová era con el juez, y librábalos de mano de los enemigos todo el tiempo de aquel juez: porque Jehová se arrepentía por sus gemidos á causa de los que los oprimían y afligían.
And when the LORD raised them up judges, then the LORD was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the LORD because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.

Ma, quando il Giudice era morto, tornavano a corrompersi più che i lor padri, andando dietro ad altri dii, per servirli, e per adorarli; non tralasciavano nulla delle loro opere, nè della lor via indurata.
Mas en muriendo el juez, ellos se tornaban, y se corrompían más que sus padres, siguiendo dioses ajenos para servirles, é inclinándose delante de ellos; y nada disminuían de sus obras, ni de su duro camino.
And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.
But when the judge was dead, they turned back, and dealt more corruptly than their fathers in following other gods to serve them and to bow down to them. They didn’t cease what they were doing, or give up their stubborn ways.

And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;
The LORD’s anger burned against Israel; and he said, “Because this nation transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not listened to my voice,
io altresì non continuerò di scacciar d'innanzi a loro alcuna delle genti, le quali Giosuè lasciò quando egli morì.
Tampoco yo echaré más de delante de ellos á ninguna de aquestas gentes que dejó Josué cuando murió;
I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:

Il che fu, per provar per esse Israele se osserverebbero la via del Signore, per camminare in essa, come l'osservarono i padri loro, o no.
Para que por ellas probara yo á Israel, si guardarían ellos el camino de Jehová andando por él, como sus padres lo guardaron, ó no.
That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.
that by them I may test Israel, to see if they will keep the LORD’s way to walk therein, as their fathers kept it, or not.”
Il Signore adunque lasciò quelle genti, senza scacciarle così subito; e non le diede nelle mani di Giosuè.
Por esto dejó Jehová aquellas gentes, y no las desarraigó luego, ni las entregó en mano de Josué.
Therefore the LORD left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.
