En ce temps-là, un ange du Seigneur vint de Galgala vers le Champ des Pleurs, vers Béthel et vers la maison de Joseph, à qui il dit : Voici ce que dit le Seigneur : Je vous ai fait sortir d'Egypte, je vous ai conduits en la terre que j'ai promise à vos pères, et j'ai dit : Je ne romprai pas l'alliance perpétuelle que j'ai faite avec vous.

Y El ángel de Jehová subió de Gilgal á Bochîm, y dijo: Yo os saqué de Egipto, y os introduje en la tierra de la cual había jurado á vuestros padres; y dije: No invalidaré jamás mi pacto con vosotros;

And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

The LORD’s angel came up from Gilgal to Bochim. He said, “I brought you out of Egypt, and have brought you to the land which I swore to give your fathers. I said, ‘I will never break my covenant with you.

Et vous, vous ne ferez point alliance avec les peuples de cette terre, vous n'adorerez point leurs dieux, mais vous en briserez les images, et vous démolirez leurs autels. Or, vous avez été indociles à ma voix : car vous avez fait ce qui vous était défendu.

Con tal que vosotros no hagáis alianza con los moradores de aquesta tierra, cuyos altares habéis de derribar: mas vosotros no habéis atendido á mi voz: ¿por qué habéis hecho esto?

And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land; ye shall throw down their altars: but ye have not obeyed my voice: why have ye done this?

You shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land. You shall break down their altars.’ But you have not listened to my voice. Why have you done this?

Et j'ai dit : Je n'exterminerai point ces peuples devant votre face, et ils seront pour vous un sujet d'angoisse, et leurs dieux vous seront un objet de scandale.

Por tanto yo también dije: No los echaré de delante de vosotros, sino que os serán por azote para vuestros costados, y sus dioses por tropiezo.

Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you.

Therefore I also said, ‘I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be in your sides, and their gods will be a snare to you.’”

Lorsque l'ange du Seigneur eut dit ces paroles à tous les fils d'Israël, le peuple éleva la voix et pleura.

Y como el ángel de Jehová habló estas palabras á todos los hijos de Israel, el pueblo lloró en alta voz.

And it came to pass, when the angel of the LORD spake these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.

Ils donnèrent à ce lieu le nom de Champ des Pleurs, et ils y sacrifièrent au Seigneur Dieu.

Y llamaron por nombre aquel lugar Bochîm: y sacrificaron allí á Jehová.

And they called the name of that place Bochim: and they sacrificed there unto the LORD.

Or, lorsque Josué avait congédié le peuple, chacun était allé prendre possession de son héritage.

Porque ya Josué había despedido al pueblo, y los hijos de Israel se habían ido cada uno á su heredad para poseerla.

And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man unto his inheritance to possess the land.

Et le peuple avait servi le Seigneur durant tous les jours de Josué et durant tous les jours des anciens, dont la vie s'était prolongée avec la sienne, et qui avaient vu toutes les œuvres du Seigneur en faveur d'Israël

Y el pueblo había servido á Jehová todo el tiempo de Josué, y todo el tiempo de los ancianos que vivieron largos días después de Josué, los cuales habían visto todas las grandes obras de Jehová, que él había hecho por Israel.

And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel.

Et Josué, fils de Nau, serviteur de Dieu, était mort âgé de cent dix ans.

Toute cette génération s'était réunie à ses pères ; et il s'éleva après elle une autre génération qui ne connaissait point le Seigneur, ni les œuvres du Seigneur en faveur d'Israël.

Y toda aquella generación fué también recogida con sus padres. Y levantóse después de ellos otra generación, que no conocían á Jehová, ni la obra que él había hecho por Israel.

And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.

Les fils d'Israël alors firent le mal devant le Seigneur, et ils servirent les Baal.

Y los hijos de Israel hicieron lo malo en ojos de Jehová, y sirvieron á los Baales:

And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim:

The children of Israel did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight, and served the Baals.

Ils abandonnèrent le Seigneur Dieu de leurs pères qui les avait fait sortir de l'Egypte, et ils suivirent d'autres dieux parmi les dieux des nations qui les entouraient ; ils les adorèrent, et ils excitèrent le courroux du Seigneur.

Y dejaron á Jehová el Dios de sus padres, que los había sacado de la tierra de Egipto, y fuéronse tras otros dioses, los dioses de los pueblos que estaban en sus alrededores, á los cuales adoraron; y provocaron á ira á Jehová.

And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger.

Ils l'abandonnèrent, et ils servirent Baal et les Astartés.

Y dejaron á Jehová, y adoraron á Baal y á Astaroth.

Alors le Seigneur fut courroucé contre Israël ; il les livra aux mains de pillards qui les dépouillèrent ; il les fit retomber entre les mains de leurs ennemis tout alentour, et ils ne purent résister devant leurs ennemis,

Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Israel, el cual los entregó en manos de robadores que los despojaron, y los vendió en manos de sus enemigos de alrededor: y no pudieron parar más delante de sus enemigos.

And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.

The LORD’s anger burned against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of raiders who plundered them. He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies.

De quelque côté qu'ils marchassent. Et la main du Seigneur était sur eux pour leur mal, comme l'avait dit le Seigneur Dieu, comme il le leur avait jurés, et il les affligea beaucoup.

Por donde quiera que salían, la mano de Jehová era contra ellos para mal, como Jehová había dicho, y como Jehová se lo había jurado; así los afligió en gran manera.

Whithersoever they went out, the hand of the LORD was against them for evil, as the LORD had said, and as the LORD had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed.

Wherever they went out, the LORD’s hand was against them for evil, as the LORD had spoken, and as the LORD had sworn to them; and they were very distressed.

Ensuite, le Seigneur suscita des juges, et le Seigneur sauva le peuple des mains de ceux qui en faisaient leur proie.

Mas Jehová suscitó jueces que los librasen de mano de los que los despojaban.

Nevertheless the LORD raised up judges, which delivered them out of the hand of those that spoiled them.

The LORD raised up judges, who saved them out of the hand of those who plundered them.

Et le peuple n'obéit pas aux juges, parce qu'il s'était prostituée à la suite des dieux étrangers, et qu'il les avait adorés ; il dévia rapidement des voies ou avaient marché ses pères ; il cessa d'écouter comme eux la parole du Seigneur.

Y tampoco oyeron á sus jueces, sino que fornicaron tras dioses ajenos, á los cuales adoraron: apartáronse bien presto del camino en que anduvieron sus padres obedeciendo á los mandamientos de Jehová; mas ellos no hicieron así.

And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods, and bowed themselves unto them: they turned quickly out of the way which their fathers walked in, obeying the commandments of the LORD; but they did not so.

Yet they didn’t listen to their judges; for they prostituted themselves to other gods, and bowed themselves down to them. They quickly turned away from the way in which their fathers walked, obeying the LORD’s commandments. They didn’t do so.

Et lorsque le Seigneur avait suscité des juges pour les fils d'Israël, et que le Seigneur était avec le juge, il les sauvait des mains de leurs ennemis, durant tous les jours du juge, parce que le Seigneur était ému de leurs gémissements devant ceux qui les assiégeaient et les affligeaient.

Y cuando Jehová les suscitaba jueces, Jehová era con el juez, y librábalos de mano de los enemigos todo el tiempo de aquel juez: porque Jehová se arrepentía por sus gemidos á causa de los que los oprimían y afligían.

And when the LORD raised them up judges, then the LORD was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the LORD because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.

When the LORD raised up judges for them, then the LORD was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for it grieved the LORD because of their groaning by reason of those who oppressed them and troubled them.

Mais, lorsque le juge était mort, ils changeaient et retombaient dans une corruption plus grande que celle de leurs pères, en suivant d'autres dieux, en les servant et en les adorant. Ils ne pouvaient alors renoncer à leurs habitudes ni à leurs voies d'endurcissement.

Mas en muriendo el juez, ellos se tornaban, y se corrompían más que sus padres, siguiendo dioses ajenos para servirles, é inclinándose delante de ellos; y nada disminuían de sus obras, ni de su duro camino.

And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings, nor from their stubborn way.

But when the judge was dead, they turned back, and dealt more corruptly than their fathers in following other gods to serve them and to bow down to them. They didn’t cease what they were doing, or give up their stubborn ways.

Le Seigneur se courrouça donc contre Israël, et il dit : Pour punir ce peuple d'avoir abandonné l'alliance que j'avais faite avec ses pères, et de n'avoir pas écouté ma parole,

Y la ira de Jehová se encendió contra Israel, y dijo: Pues que esta gente traspasa mi pacto que ordené á sus padres, y no obedecen mi voz,

And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;

The LORD’s anger burned against Israel; and he said, “Because this nation transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not listened to my voice,

Je ne ferai plus périr un seul homme de ceux qu'a laissés en cette terre Josué, fils de Nau, et qu'a laissés le Seigneur,

Tampoco yo echaré más de delante de ellos á ninguna de aquestas gentes que dejó Josué cuando murió;

I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:

I also will no longer drive out any of the nations that Joshua left when he died from before them;

Pour éprouver par eux Israël, et voir s'il persévèrerait ou non dans la voie du Seigneur qu'avaient suivie leurs pères.

Para que por ellas probara yo á Israel, si guardarían ellos el camino de Jehová andando por él, como sus padres lo guardaron, ó no.

That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.

that by them I may test Israel, to see if they will keep the LORD’s way to walk therein, as their fathers kept it, or not.”

Et le Seigneur permettra encore que les nations qu'il n'a pas livrées aux mains de Josué, ne soient point exterminées rapidement.

Por esto dejó Jehová aquellas gentes, y no las desarraigó luego, ni las entregó en mano de Josué.

Therefore the LORD left those nations, without driving them out hastily; neither delivered he them into the hand of Joshua.

So the LORD left those nations, without driving them out hastily. He didn’t deliver them into Joshua’s hand.
