Con él se aliaron los amonitas y los amalecitas, y derrotaron a los israelitas y tomaron posesión de Jericó, la Ciudad de las Palmeras.

Y juntó consigo á los hijos de Ammón y de Amalec, y fué, é hirió á Israel, y tomó la ciudad de las palmas.

And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.
