†nur damit die Geschlechter der Israeliten Kenntnis von denselben erhielten, um sie die Kriegsführung zu lehren, und zwar nur die, welche von den früheren Kämpfen nichts erlebt –:

Para que al menos el linaje de los hijos de Israel conociese, para enseñarlos en la guerra, siquiera fuese á los que antes no la habían conocido:

Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;

only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at least those who knew nothing of it before:
