La empuñadura de la daga desapareció debajo de la carne, y la grasa la cubrió al salírsele el excremento por la herida. Dejando allí la daga, Aod cerró la puerta tras de sí con el cerrojo y escapó por el corredor.

De tal manera que la empuñadura entró también tras la hoja, y la grosura encerró la hoja, que él no sacó el puñal de su vientre: y salió el estiércol.
