Después de Aod floreció Samgar, hijo de Anat, que mató a seiscientos filisteos con una reja de arado; y éste fue también defensor y libertador de Israel.

Así quedó Moab sojuzgado aquel día bajo la mano de Israel: y reposó la tierra ochenta años.
