O povo de Israel fez o que era mau aos olhos de Yahweh e se esqueceu de Yahweh, o seu Deus. Eles adoraram os baalins e Aserá.

Hicieron, pues, los hijos de Israel lo malo en ojos de Jehová: y olvidados de Jehová su Dios, sirvieron á los Baales, y á los ídolos de los bosques.

And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.
