Mais, les fils d'Israël recommencèrent à faire le mal devant le Seigneur, et Aod était mort.

Y Jehová los vendió en mano de Jabín rey de Canaán, el cual reinó en Asor: y el capitán de su ejército se llamaba Sísara, y él habitaba en Haroseth de las Gentes.

La cual Débora habitaba debajo de una palma entre Rama y Beth-el, en el monte de Ephraim: y los hijos de Israel subían á ella á juicio.

And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Beth-el in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

Débora envoya chercher Barac, fils d'Abinéem, de Cadès en Nephthali, et elle lui dit : Le Seigneur ne t'a-t-il pas donné ces ordres : Tu t'en iras au mont Thabor ; tu prendras avec toi dix mille hommes des fils de Nephthali et des fils de Zabulon, puis,

Y ella envió á llamar á Barac hijo de Abinoam, de Cedes de Nephtalí, y díjole: ¿No te ha mandado Jehová Dios de Israel, diciendo: Ve, y haz gente en el monte de Tabor, y toma contigo diez mil hombres de los hijos de Nephtalí, y de los hijos de Zabulón:

And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

J'amènerai vers toi, dans le torrent de Cison, Sisara, général de l'armée de Jabin, et ses chars, et ses troupes, et je le livrerai à tes mains ?

Y yo atraeré á ti al arroyo de Cisón á Sísara, capitán del ejército de Jabín, con sus carros y su ejército, y entregarélo en tus manos?

And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.

A quoi Barac répondit : Si tu pars avec moi, je partirai ; sinon, je ne partirai pas : car je ne sais pas le jour où le Seigneur me favorisera de la compagnie de son ange.

Y Barac le respondió: Si tú fueres conmigo, yo iré: pero si no fueres conmigo, no iré.

And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.

Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go.”

Et elle dit : Je partirai avec toi ; mais sache que tu n'auras point le premier rang dans la voie où tu veux marcher ; car le Seigneur livrera Sisara aux mains d'une femme. Débora se leva donc, et elle partit de Cadès avec Barac.

Y ella dijo: Iré contigo; mas no será tu honra en el camino que vas; porque en mano de mujer venderá Jehová á Sísara. Y levantándose Débora fué con Barac á Cedes.

And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

She said, “I will surely go with you. Nevertheless, the journey that you take won’t be for your honor; for the LORD will sell Sisera into a woman’s hand.” Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

Et Barac appela de Cadès le secours de Zabulon et de Nephthali ; dix mille hommes le suivirent, et Débora partit avec lui.

Y juntó Barac á Zabulón y á Nephtalí en Cedes, y subió con diez mil hombres á su mando, y Débora subió con él.

And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.

Y Heber Cineo, de los hijos de Hobab suegro de Moisés, se había apartado de los Cineos, y puesto su tienda hasta el valle de Zaananim, que está junto á Cedes.

Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh.

Now Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, even from the children of Hobab, Moses’ brother-in-law, and had pitched his tent as far as the oak in Zaanannim, which is by Kedesh.

Quand on apprit à Sisara que Barac, fils d'Abinéem, était allé sur le mont Thabor,

Vinieron pues las nuevas á Sísara como Barac hijo de Abinoam había subido al monte de Tabor.

And they shewed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.

Sisara rassembla tous ses chars, ses neuf cents chars armés de faux, avec tout le peuple qui habitait comme lui Arisoth des gentils, et il les mena dans le torrent de Cison.

Y reunió Sísara todos sus carros, nuevecientos carros herrados, con todo el pueblo que con él estaba, desde Haroseth de las Gentes hasta el arroyo de Cisón.

Débora dit à Barac : Debout, voici le jour où le Seigneur te livre Sisara ; car le Seigneur va marcher à notre tête. Et Barac descendit du mont Thabor suivi de dix mille hommes.

And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.

Deborah said to Barak, “Go; for this is the day in which the LORD has delivered Sisera into your hand. Hasn’t the LORD gone out before you?” So Barak went down from Mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.

Et le Seigneur frappa Sisara d'épouvante ; ses chars s'embarrassèrent ; tout son camp fut passé au fil de l'épée devant Barac ; et Sisara descendit de son char, et il s'enfuit à pied.

Y Jehová desbarató á Sísara, y á todos sus carros y á todo su ejército, á filo de espada delante de Barac: y Sísara descendió del carro, y huyó á pie.

And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet.

The LORD confused Sisera, all his chariots, and all his army, with the edge of the sword before Barak. Sisera abandoned his chariot and fled away on his feet.

Et Barac poursuivit ses chars et les débris du camp jusqu'à Arisoth des gentils ; toute l'armée de Sisara fut passée au fil de l'épée ; il n'en resta pas un seul homme.

Mas Barac siguió los carros y el ejército hasta Haroseth de las Gentes, y todo el ejército de Sísara cayó á filo de espada, hasta no quedar ni uno.

But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; and there was not a man left.

Cependant, Sisara s'enfuit à pied dans la tente de Jaël, femme du Cinéen Haber son ami ; car il y avait paix entre Jabin, roi d'Asor, et Haber le Cinéen.

Y Sísara se acogió á pie á la tienda de Jael mujer de Heber Cineo; porque había paz entre Jabín rey de Asor y la casa de Heber Cineo.

Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite: for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.

Et Jaël sortit à la rencontre de Sisara, et elle lui dit : Entre, mon seigneur, cache-toi chez moi, n'aie point de crainte. Et il se cacha chez elle dans la tente, et elle l'enveloppa d'un manteau.

Y saliendo Jael á recibir á Sísara, díjole: Ven, señor mío, ven á mí, no tengas temor. Y él vino á ella á la tienda, y ella le cubrió con una manta.

And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.

Or, Sisara lui dit : Donne-moi à boire un peu d'eau, car j'ai bien soif. Et elle lui ouvrit l'outre à lait, et elle le fit boire ; puis, elle le recouvrit.

Y él le dijo: Ruégote me des á beber una poca de agua, que tengo sed. Y ella abrió un odre de leche y dióle de beber, y tornóle á cubrir.

And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.

He said to her, “Please give me a little water to drink; for I am thirsty.” She opened a container of milk, and gave him a drink, and covered him.

Et Sisara lui dit : Tiens-toi devant la porte de la tente ; et si quelqu'un vient à toi, et te demande : Y a-t-il ici un homme ? Réponds : Il n'y en a point.

Y él le dijo: Estáte á la puerta de la tienda, y si alguien viniere, y te preguntare, diciendo: ¿Hay aquí alguno? tú responderás que no.

Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.

He said to her, “Stand in the door of the tent, and if any man comes and inquires of you, and says, ‘Is there any man here?’ you shall say, ‘No.’”

Et Jaël, femme d'Haber, prit un des clous de la tente ; elle mit un marteau dans sa main, elle s'approcha de Sisara furtivement, et elle lui enfonça dans la tempe le clou qui traversa de part en part jusqu'à terre ; et l'homme, perdant connaissance, fut enveloppe de ténèbres, et il mourut.

Y Jael, mujer de Heber, tomó una estaca de la tienda, y poniendo un mazo en su mano, vino á él calladamente, y metióle la estaca por las sienes, y enclavólo en la tierra, pues él estaba cargado de sueño y cansado; y así murió.

Then Jael Heber’s wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.

Then Jael, Heber’s wife, took a tent peg, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him, and struck the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground, for he was in a deep sleep; so he fainted and died.

Bientôt Barac parut poursuivant Sisara ; Jaël sortit à sa rencontre, et elle lui dit : Viens, je vais te montrer l'homme que tu cherches. Il entra auprès d'elle, et il vit Sisara étendu mort, le clou dans la tempe.

Y siguiendo Barac á Sísara, Jael salió á recibirlo, y díjole: Ven, y te mostraré al varón que tú buscas. Y él entró donde ella estaba, y he aquí Sísara yacía muerto con la estaca por la sien.

And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples.

Ainsi, le Seigneur Dieu, ce jour-là, mit en déroute le roi Jabin, devant les fils d'Israël.

Así abatió Dios aquel día á Jabín, rey de Canaán, delante de los hijos de Israel.

And the hand of the children of Israel prospered, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
