Als aber die Israeliten nach Ehuds Tode aufs neue taten, was dem HERRN mißfiel,

MAS los hijos de Israel tornaron á hacer lo malo en ojos de Jehová, después de la muerte de Aod.

Y Jehová los vendió en mano de Jabín rey de Canaán, el cual reinó en Asor: y el capitán de su ejército se llamaba Sísara, y él habitaba en Haroseth de las Gentes.

Sie hatte ihren Sitz unter der Debora-Palme zwischen Rama und Bethel im Gebirge Ephraim, und die Israeliten suchten sie dort oben auf, um sich von ihr Recht sprechen zu lassen.

Diese nun schickte hin und ließ Barak, den Sohn Abinoams, aus Kedes im Stamme Naphthali rufen und sagte zu ihm: »Wisse wohl: der HERR, der Gott Israels, gebietet dir: ›Mache dich auf, ziehe auf den Berg Thabor und nimm zehntausend Mann mit dir aus den beiden Stämmen Naphthali und Sebulon.

And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedesh-naphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

Ich will dann Sisera, den Heerführer Jabins, samt seinen Wagen und seinen Heerscharen zu dir an den Bach Kison führen und ihn in deine Gewalt geben.‹«

Y yo atraeré á ti al arroyo de Cisón á Sísara, capitán del ejército de Jabín, con sus carros y su ejército, y entregarélo en tus manos?

And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.

Barak antwortete ihr: »Wenn du mit mir gehst, so will ich gehen; wenn du aber nicht mit mir gehst, so gehe auch ich nicht.«

Y Barac le respondió: Si tú fueres conmigo, yo iré: pero si no fueres conmigo, no iré.

And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.

Da erwiderte sie: »Gewiß will ich mit dir gehen; doch wird alsdann der Ruhm des Zuges, den du unternimmst, nicht dir zuteil werden, denn der HERR wird den Sisera in die Hand eines Weibes fallen lassen.« So machte sich denn Debora auf den Weg und begab sich mit Barak nach Kedes.

Y ella dijo: Iré contigo; mas no será tu honra en el camino que vas; porque en mano de mujer venderá Jehová á Sísara. Y levantándose Débora fué con Barac á Cedes.

And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

She said, “I will surely go with you. Nevertheless, the journey that you take won’t be for your honor; for the LORD will sell Sisera into a woman’s hand.” Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

Hierauf entbot Barak die Stämme Sebulon und Naphthali nach Kedes, und zehntausend Mann zogen unter seiner Führung (auf den Berg Thabor) hinauf; auch Debora zog mit ihm hinauf.

And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.

Der Keniter Heber aber hatte sich von den übrigen Kenitern, von der Familie Hobabs, des Schwagers Moses, getrennt und schlug seine Zelte bis zur Eiche bei Zaanannim in der Nähe von Kedes auf.

Y Heber Cineo, de los hijos de Hobab suegro de Moisés, se había apartado de los Cineos, y puesto su tienda hasta el valle de Zaananim, que está junto á Cedes.

Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh.

Als nun Sisera die Kunde erhielt, daß Barak, der Sohn Abinoams, auf den Berg Thabor hinaufgezogen sei,

Da sagte Debora zu Barak: »Auf! Denn dies ist der Tag, an dem der HERR den Sisera in deine Hand gibt! Der HERR ist (selbst) schon vor dir her ausgezogen!« So stieg denn Barak an der Spitze seiner zehntausend Mann vom Berge Thabor hinab,

And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.

und der HERR setzte Sisera und alle seine Wagen und sein ganzes Heer durch die Ankunft und den wilden Schwertangriff Baraks in solche Verwirrung, daß Sisera vom Wagen stieg und zu Fuß floh.

Y Jehová desbarató á Sísara, y á todos sus carros y á todo su ejército, á filo de espada delante de Barac: y Sísara descendió del carro, y huyó á pie.

And the LORD discomfited Sisera, and all his chariots, and all his host, with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet.

Barak aber verfolgte die Wagen und das Heer bis Haroseth-Goim, und das ganze Heer Siseras wurde mit dem Schwert niedergemacht: auch nicht ein einziger blieb übrig.

Sisera aber war zu Fuß nach dem Zelte Jaels, der Frau des Keniters Heber, geflohen; denn zwischen Jabin, dem Könige von Hazor, und der Familie des Keniters Heber herrschte Friede.

Da trat Jael aus dem Zelte hinaus Sisera entgegen und sagte zu ihm: »Kehre ein, Herr, kehre ein bei mir: fürchte dich nicht!« Da trat er zu ihr ins Zelt, und sie deckte ihn mit einer Schlafdecke zu.

And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.

Dann bat er sie: »Gib mir doch ein wenig Wasser zu trinken, denn ich bin durstig!« Da öffnete sie den Milchschlauch, gab ihm zu trinken und deckte ihn wieder zu.

Y él le dijo: Ruégote me des á beber una poca de agua, que tengo sed. Y ella abrió un odre de leche y dióle de beber, y tornóle á cubrir.

And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.

He said to her, “Please give me a little water to drink; for I am thirsty.” She opened a container of milk, and gave him a drink, and covered him.

Darauf bat er sie: »Stelle dich in den Eingang des Zeltes, und wenn jemand kommt und dich fragt, ob jemand hier sei, so antworte: ›Nein, kein Mensch!‹«

Y él le dijo: Estáte á la puerta de la tienda, y si alguien viniere, y te preguntare, diciendo: ¿Hay aquí alguno? tú responderás que no.

Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No.

He said to her, “Stand in the door of the tent, and if any man comes and inquires of you, and says, ‘Is there any man here?’ you shall say, ‘No.’”

Nun holte Jael, Hebers Frau, einen Zeltpflock, nahm einen Hammer in die Hand, trat leise an ihn heran, während er vor Erschöpfung eingeschlafen war, und schlug ihm den Pflock durch die Schläfe, so daß er noch in den Erdboden eindrang; so starb er.

Y Jael, mujer de Heber, tomó una estaca de la tienda, y poniendo un mazo en su mano, vino á él calladamente, y metióle la estaca por las sienes, y enclavólo en la tierra, pues él estaba cargado de sueño y cansado; y así murió.

Then Jael Heber’s wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.

Then Jael, Heber’s wife, took a tent peg, and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him, and struck the pin into his temples, and it pierced through into the ground, for he was in a deep sleep; so he fainted and died.

In diesem Augenblick kam Barak, der den Sisera verfolgte; Jael trat hinaus ihm entgegen und rief ihm zu: »Komm, ich will dir den Mann zeigen, den du suchst!« Als er dann bei ihr eintrat, fand er wirklich Sisera als Leiche am Boden liegen, und der Pflock steckte ihm noch in der Schläfe.

Y siguiendo Barac á Sísara, Jael salió á recibirlo, y díjole: Ven, y te mostraré al varón que tú buscas. Y él entró donde ella estaba, y he aquí Sísara yacía muerto con la estaca por la sien.

And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples.

So demütigte Gott an jenem Tage den Kanaanäerkönig Jabin vor den Israeliten,

Así abatió Dios aquel día á Jabín, rey de Canaán, delante de los hijos de Israel.

deren Hand dann immer schwerer auf Jabin, dem Kanaanäerkönige, lastete, bis sie ihn völlig vernichtet hatten.

Y la mano de los hijos de Israel comenzó á crecer y á fortificarse contra Jabín rey de Canaán, hasta que lo destruyeron.

And the hand of the children of Israel prospered, and prevailed against Jabin the king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
