Verfluchet die Stadt Meros, sprach der Engel des HERRN; ja, fluchet sehr ihren Bürgern! Weil sie dem HERRN nicht zu Hilfe gekommen sind, dem HERRN zu Hilfe mit den Helden!

Maldecid á Meroz, dijo el ángel de Jehová: maldecid severamente á sus moradores, porque no vinieron en socorro á Jehová, en socorro á Jehová contra los fuertes.

Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.

‘Curse Meroz,’ said the LORD’s angel. ‘Curse bitterly its inhabitants, because they didn’t come to help the LORD, to help the LORD against the mighty.’
