Israele dunque fu ridotto in gran miseria a motivo di Madian, e i figliuoli d’Israele gridarono all’Eterno.

Era pues Israel en gran manera empobrecido por los Madianitas; y los hijos de Israel clamaron á Jehová.

And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.

Israel was brought very low because of Midian; and the children of Israel cried to the LORD.
