Abimeleque lutou contra a cidade por todo aquele dia. Ele a tomou e matou o povo que estava ali. E derrubou seus muros e espalhou sal sobre ela.

Y después de combatir Abimelech la ciudad todo aquel día, tomóla, y mató el pueblo que en ella estaba, y asoló la ciudad, y sembróla de sal.
