Jeremías 10

Ecoutez la parole que l'Eternel prononce à votre intention, ô maison d'Israël!

OID la palabra que Jehová ha hablado sobre vosotros, oh casa de Israel.

Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

Hear the word which the LORD speaks to you, house of Israel!

Voici ce que dit l'Eternel: "N'adoptez pas les pratiques des nations, ni ne tremblez devant les signes célestes parce que les nations tremblent devant eux.

Así dijo Jehová: No aprendáis el camino de las gentes, ni de las señales del cielo tengáis temor, aunque las gentes las teman.

Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

The LORD says, “Don’t learn the way of the nations, and don’t be dismayed at the signs of the sky; for the nations are dismayed at them.

Car les coutumes des autres peuples sont chose vaine; en effet, on coupe dans la forêt un arbre que le charpentier façonne à coups de hache;

Porque las ordenanzas de los pueblos son vanidad: porque leño del monte cortaron, obra de manos de artífice con azuela.

For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

For the customs of the peoples are vanity; for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the ax.

puis on le décore d'argent et d'or, on le consolide avec des clous et des marteaux, pour qu'il ne bouge pas.

Con plata y oro lo engalanan; con clavos y martillo lo afirman, para que no se salga.

De tels dieux sont comme un épouvantail dans un champ de concombres, ils ne parlent pas, on est obligé de les porter, car ils ne peuvent faire un pas. Ne craignez rien d'eux, car ils ne font pas de mal; mais faire du bien n'est pas davantage en leur pouvoir.

Como palma lo igualan, y no hablan; son llevados, porque no pueden andar. No tengáis temor de ellos; porque ni pueden hacer mal, ni para hacer bien tienen poder.

They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

They are like a palm tree, of turned work, and don’t speak. They must be carried, because they can’t move. Don’t be afraid of them; for they can’t do evil, neither is it in them to do good.”

Nul n'est semblable à toi, ô Eternel! Tu es grand, et grand est ton nom, grâce à ta puissance.

No hay semejante á ti, oh Jehová; grande tú, y grande tu nombre en fortaleza.

Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

There is no one like you, LORD. You are great, and your name is great in might.

Qui ne te vénérerait, ô Roi des nations, comme cela t'est dû? Assurément, parmi tous les sages des nations et dans tous leurs royaumes, nul n'est semblable à toi.

¿Quién no te temerá, oh Rey de las gentes? porque á ti compete ello; porque entre todos los sabios de las gentes, y en todos sus reinos, no hay semejante á ti.

Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

Who shouldn’t fear you, King of the nations? For it belongs to you. Because among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their royal estate, there is no one like you.

Ensemble ils font preuve de déraison et de sottise, le bois †qu'ils adorent montre le néant de leur doctrine.

Y todos se infatuarán, y entontecerán. Enseñanza de vanidades es el mismo leño.

But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock is a doctrine of vanities.

On a apporté de l'argent laminé de Tarchich, de l'or d'Oufaz; c'est l'œuvre du sculpteur et des mains de l'orfèvre; on l'affuble d'étoffes d'azur et de pourpre: tout celé est le fait d'habiles artistes.

Traerán plata extendida de Tarsis, y oro de Uphaz; obrará el artífice, y las manos del fundidor; vestiránlos de cárdeno y de púrpura: obra de peritos es todo.

Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple is their clothing: they are all the work of cunning men.

There is silver beaten into plates, which is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the engraver and of the hands of the goldsmith. Their clothing is blue and purple. They are all the work of skillful men.

Tandis que l'Eternel, Dieu, est vérité; lui seul est un Dieu vivant et un Roi éternel: sa colère fait trembler la terre et les peuples ne peuvent soutenir son courroux.

Mas Jehová Dios es la verdad; él es Dios vivo y Rey eterno: á su ira tiembla la tierra, y las gentes no pueden sufrir su saña.

But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.

Vous leur parlerez ainsi: "Les dieux qui n'ont créé ni le ciel ni la terre disparaîtront de la terre et de dessous ces cieux.

Les diréis así: Los dioses que no hicieron los cielos ni la tierra, perezcan de la tierra y de debajo de estos cielos.

Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

“You shall say this to them: ‘The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth, and from under the heavens.’”

Il a créé la terre par sa puissance, affermi le monde par sa sagesse, déployé les cieux par son intelligence.

El que hizo la tierra con su potencia, el que puso en orden el mundo con su saber, y extendió los cielos con su prudencia;

He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

God has made the earth by his power. He has established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding has he stretched out the heavens.

Lorsqu'il fait entendre le bruit du †tonnerre, des torrents d'eau s'amassent au ciel, il élève les nuées du bout de la terre, il accompagne d'éclairs la pluie et fait s'échapper les vents de ses réservoirs.

A su voz se da muchedumbre de aguas en el cielo, y hace subir las nubes de lo postrero de la tierra; hace los relámpagos con la lluvia, y saca el viento de sus depósitos.

When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

Tout être humain est éperdu, incapable de comprendre; tout orfèvre a honte de son idole, car sa statue de fonte est un mensonge, nul souffle de vie en tous ces dieux!

Todo hombre se embrutece y le falta ciencia; avergüéncese de su vaciadizo todo fundidor: porque mentira es su obra de fundición, y no hay espíritu en ellos;

Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

Every man has become brutish and without knowledge. Every goldsmith is disappointed by his engraved image; for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

Ce sont des néants, des oeuvres d'aberration; au jour du règlement des comptes, ils périront.

Vanidad son, obra de escarnios: en el tiempo de su visitación perecerán.

They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

They are vanity, a work of delusion. In the time of their visitation they will perish.

Tel n'est pas Celui qui est le lot de Jacob; c'est le Créateur de l'Univers, et Israël est la tribu qui lui appartient en propre: Eternel-Cebaot est son nom!

No es como ellos la suerte de Jacob: porque él es el Hacedor de todo, é Israel es la vara de su herencia: Jehová de los ejércitos es su nombre.

The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.

The portion of Jacob is not like these; for he is the maker of all things; and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance. The LORD of Armies is his name.

Ramasse tes ballots qui sont à terre, ô toi qui es pressée par le siège!

Recoge de las tierras tus mercaderías, la que moras en lugar fuerte.

Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.

Gather up your wares out of the land, you who live under siege.

Car ainsi parle l'Eternel: "Cette fois, je vals lancer au loin, comme par la fronde, les habitants de ce pays, je vais les serrer étroitement pour qu'on mette la main sur eux."

Porque así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que esta vez arrojaré con honda los moradores de la tierra, y he de afligirlos, para que lo hallen.

For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.

For the LORD says, “Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this time, and will distress them, that they may feel it.”

Malheur à moi! Car j'ai subi un désastre! Incurable est ma blessure! Je me disais: Si je n'ai que cette souffrance, je la supporterai.

¡Ay de mí, por mi quebrantamiento! mi llaga es muy dolorosa. Yo empero dije: Ciertamente enfermedad mía es esta, y debo sufrirla.

Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.

Woe is me because of my injury! My wound is serious; but I said, “Truly this is my grief, and I must bear it.”

Mais ma tente est saccagée, tous mes cordages sont rompus; mes fils m'ont quittée, ils ne sont plus! Plus personne pour dresser ma tente, pour fixer mes draperies!

Mi tienda es destruída, y todas mis cuerdas están rotas: mis hijos fueron sacados de mí, y perecieron: no hay ya más quien extienda mi tienda, ni quien levante mis cortinas.

My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.

My tent has been destroyed, and all my cords are broken. My children have gone away from me, and they are no more. There is no one to spread my tent any more, to set up my curtains.

C'est que les bergers ont perdu le sens et ne se sont plus souciés de l'Eternel; aussi n'ont-ils pas prospéré, et tout leur troupeau s'est-il dispersé.

Porque los pastores se infatuaron, y no buscaron á Jehová: por tanto no prosperaron, y todo su ganado se esparció.

For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.

For the shepherds have become brutish, and have not inquired of the LORD. Therefore they have not prospered, and all their flocks have scattered.

Voici qu'on entend une rumeur qui approche: un grand ouragan vient de la région du Nord, qui réduira les villes de Juda en solitudes, en repaires de chacals.

He aquí que voz de fama viene, y alboroto grande de la tierra del aquilón, para tornar en soledad todas las ciudades de Judá, en morada de culebras.

Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.

The voice of news, behold, it comes, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah a desolation, a dwelling place of jackals.

Je sais, ô Eternel, que le fils d'Adam ne dispose pas de son sort, que l'homme qui marche n'est pas maître de diriger ses pas.

Conozco, oh Jehová, que el hombre no es señor de su camino, ni del hombre que camina es ordenar sus pasos.

O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself. It is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

Châtie-moi donc, ô Eternel, mais avec mesure; ne †me frappe pas dans ta colère, car tu me réduirais à rien.

Castígame, oh Jehová, mas con juicio; no con tu furor, porque no me aniquiles.

O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

LORD, correct me, but gently; not in your anger, lest you reduce me to nothing.

Déverse ton indignation sur les peuples qui ne te connaissent pas et sur les races qui n'invoquent pas ton nom; car ils ont dévoré Jacob, ils l'ont dévoré, anéanti, et ont ruiné ses foyers.

Derrama tu enojo sobre las gentes que no te conocen, y sobre las naciones que no invocan tu nombre: porque se comieron á Jacob, y lo devoraron, y le han consumido, y asolado su morada.

Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.

Pour out your wrath on the nations that don’t know you, and on the families that don’t call on your name; for they have devoured Jacob. Yes, they have devoured him, consumed him, and have laid waste his habitation.
