Eternel, quand je contesterai avec toi, tu seras trouvé juste ; mais toutefois j’entrerai en contestation avec toi. Pourquoi la voie des méchants a-t-elle prospéré ; et pourquoi tous les perfides vivent-ils en paix ?
JUSTO eres tú, oh Jehová, aunque yo contigo dispute: hablaré empero juicios contigo. ¿Por qué es prosperado el camino de los impíos, y tienen bien todos los que se portan deslealmente?
Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?
You are righteous, LORD, when I contend with you; yet I would like to plead a case with you. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are they all at ease who deal very treacherously?
Tu les as plantés, et ils ont pris racine ; ils s’avancent, et fructifient. Tu es près de leur bouche, mais tu es loin de leurs reins.
Plantástelos, y echaron raíces; progresaron, é hicieron fruto; cercano estás tú en sus bocas, mas lejos de sus riñones.
Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins.
You have planted them. Yes, they have taken root. They grow. Yes, they produce fruit. You are near in their mouth, and far from their heart.
Mais, ô Eternel ! tu m’as connu, tu m’as vu, et tu as sondé quel est mon coeur envers toi. Traîne-les comme des brebis qu’on mène pour être égorgées, et prépare-les pour le jour de la tuerie.
Tú empero, oh Jehová, me conoces; vísteme, y probaste mi corazón para contigo: arráncalos como á ovejas para el degolladero, y señálalos para el día de la matanza.
But thou, O LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.

Jusques à quand la terre mènera-t-elle deuil, et l’herbe de tous les champs séchera-t-elle à cause de la malice des habitants qui sont en la terre ? Les bêtes et les oiseaux ont été consumés par la disette, parce que ces méchants ont dit : on ne verra point notre dernière fin.
¿Hasta cuándo estará desierta la tierra, y marchita la hierba de todo el campo? Por la maldad de los que en ella moran, faltaron los ganados, y las aves; porque dijeron: No verá él nuestras postrimerías.
How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.
How long will the land mourn, and the herbs of the whole country wither? Because of the wickedness of those who dwell therein, the animals and birds are consumed; because they said, “He won’t see our latter end.”
Si tu as couru avec les gens de pied, et qu’ils t’aient lassé, comment te mêleras-tu parmi les chevaux ? et si tu t’es cru en sûreté dans une terre de paix, que feras-tu lorsque le Jourdain sera enflé ?
Si corriste con los de á pie, y te cansaron, ¿cómo contenderás con los caballos? Y si en la tierra de paz estabas quieto, ¿cómo harás en la hinchazón del Jordán?
If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?
“If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? Though in a land of peace you are secure, yet how will you do in the pride of the Jordan?
Certainement tes frères mêmes, et la maison de ton père, ceux-là mêmes ont agi perfidement contre toi, eux-mêmes ont crié après toi à plein gosier ; ne les crois point, quoiqu’ils te parlent aimablement.
Porque aun tus hermanos y la casa de tu padre, aun ellos se levantaron contra ti, aun ellos dieron voces en pos de ti. No los creas, cuando bien te hablaren.
For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.

Mine heritage is unto me as a speckled bird, the birds round about are against her; come ye, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour.

On l’a ravagé, et lui, tout désolé, a été en deuil devant moi ; toute la terre a été ravagée, parce qu’il n’y a personne qui y fasse attention.

Les destructeurs sont venus sur toutes les hautes places qui sont au désert, car l’épée de l’Eternel dévore depuis un bout du pays jusqu’à l’autre ; il n’y a point de paix pour aucune chair.
Sobre todos los lugares altos del desierto vinieron disipadores: porque la espada de Jehová devorará desde el un extremo de la tierra hasta el otro extremo: no habrá paz para ninguna carne.
The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.

They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

Ainsi a dit l’Eternel contre tous mes mauvais voisins, qui mettent la main sur l’héritage que j’ai fait hériter à mon peuple d’Israël : voici, je vais les arracher de leur pays, et j’arracherai la maison de Juda du milieu d’eux.
Así dijo Jehová contra todos mis malos vecinos, que tocan la heredad que hice poseer á mi pueblo Israel: He aquí que yo los arrancaré de su tierra, y arrancaré de en medio de ellos la casa de Judá.
Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.

Mais il arrivera qu’après les avoir arrachés, j’aurai encore compassion d’eux, et je les ferai retourner chacun à son héritage, et chacun en son quartier.
Y será que, después que los hubiere arrancado, tornaré y tendré misericordia de ellos, y harélos volver cada uno á su heredad, y cada cual á su tierra.

Et il arrivera que s’ils apprennent bien les voies de mon peuple, pour jurer en mon Nom, l’Eternel est vivant, ainsi qu’ils ont enseigné à mon peuple à jurer par Bahal, ils seront édifiés parmi mon peuple.
Y será que, si cuidadosamente aprendieren los caminos de mi pueblo, para jurar en mi nombre, diciendo, Vive Jehová, así como enseñaron á mi pueblo á jurar por Baal; ellos serán prosperados en medio de mi pueblo.
And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.
It will happen, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, ‘As the LORD lives;’ even as they taught my people to swear by Baal, then they will be built up in the middle of my people.
Mais s’ils n’écoutent point, j’arracherai entièrement une telle nation, et la ferai périr, dit l’Eternel.
Mas si no oyeren, arrancaré á la tal gente, sacándola de raíz, y destruyendo, dice Jehová.
But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.
But if they will not hear, then I will pluck up that nation, plucking up and destroying it,” says the LORD.
