Jeremías 13

Et si tu dis dans ton cœur : Pourquoi ces choses m'arrivent-elles ? C'est pour la multitude de tes péchés que les pans de ta robe ont été relevés, que tes talons ont été meurtris.

Cuando dijeres en tu corazón: ¿Por qué me ha sobrevenido esto? Por la enormidad de tu maldad fueron descubiertas tus faldas, fueron desnudos tus calcañares.

And if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered, and thy heels made bare.

If you say in your heart, “Why have these things come on me?” Your skirts are uncovered because of the greatness of your iniquity, and your heels suffer violence.
