ASÍ me dijo Jehová: Ve, y cómprate un cinto de lino, y cíñelo sobre tus lomos, y no lo meterás en agua.
Thus saith the LORD unto me, Go and get thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water.
The LORD said to me, “Go, and buy yourself a linen belt, and put it on your waist, and don’t put it in water.”
Et je m'achetai la ceinture, selon la parole de l'Eternel, et je la mis sur mes reins.
Y compré el cinto conforme á la palabra de Jehová, y púselo sobre mis lomos.
So I got a girdle according to the word of the LORD, and put it on my loins.
So I bought a belt according to the LORD’s word, and put it on my waist.
Puis la parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée une seconde fois, disant :
Y fué á mí segunda vez palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

Prends la ceinture que tu as achetée, qui est sur tes reins, et lève-toi ; va vers l'Euphrate et l'y cache dans une fente de rocher.
Toma el cinto que compraste, que está sobre tus lomos, y levántate, y ve al Eufrates, y escóndelo allá en la concavidad de una peña.
Take the girdle that thou hast got, which is upon thy loins, and arise, go to Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole of the rock.
“Take the belt that you have bought, which is on your waist, and arise, go to the Euphrates, and hide it there in a cleft of the rock.”
Et j'allai et je la cachai dans l'Euphrate, comme l'Eternel me l'avait ordonné.
Fuí pues, y escondílo junto al Eufrates, como Jehová me mandó.
So I went, and hid it by Euphrates, as the LORD commanded me.

Et il arriva au bout d'un grand nombre de jours que l'Eternel me dit : Lève-toi, va vers l'Euphrate, et reprends la ceinture que je t'avais commandé d'y cacher.
Y sucedió que al cabo de muchos días me dijo Jehová: Levántate, y ve al Eufrates, y toma de allí el cinto que te mandé escondieses allá.
And it came to pass after many days, that the LORD said unto me, Arise, go to Euphrates, and take the girdle from thence, which I commanded thee to hide there.
After many days, the LORD said to me, “Arise, go to the Euphrates, and take the belt from there, which I commanded you to hide there.”
Et j'allai vers l'Euphrate, je creusai, je repris la ceinture au lieu où je l'avais cachée, et voici, la ceinture était gâtée ; elle n'était plus bonne à rien.
Entonces fuí al Eufrates, y cavé, y tomé el cinto del lugar donde lo había escondido; y he aquí que el cinto se había podrido; para ninguna cosa era bueno.
Then I went to Euphrates, and digged, and took the girdle from the place where I had hid it: and, behold, the girdle was marred, it was profitable for nothing.

Et la parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, disant :

Ainsi parle l'Eternel : C'est ainsi que je détruirai l'orgueil de Juda et le grand orgueil de Jérusalem.
Así ha dicho Jehová: Así haré podrir la soberbia de Judá, y la mucha soberbia de Jerusalem,
Thus saith the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
“The LORD says, ‘In this way I will ruin the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
Ce peuple mauvais qui refuse d'écouter mes paroles, qui marche suivant l'endurcissement de son cœur et court après d'autres dieux pour les servir et les adorer, il sera comme cette ceinture qui n'est plus bonne à rien ;
A este pueblo malo, que no quieren oir mis palabras, que andan en las imaginaciones de su corazón, y se fueron en pos de dioses ajenos para servirles, y para encorvarse á ellos; y vendrá á ser como este cinto, que para ninguna cosa es bueno.
This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.

car, comme la ceinture est attachée aux reins d'un homme, ainsi je m'étais attaché toute la maison d'Israël et toute la maison de Juda, dit l'Eternel, afin qu'elles fussent pour-moi un peuple, un nom, un honneur et une gloire ; mais ils n'ont pas obéi.
Porque como el cinto se junta á los lomos del hombre, así hice juntar á mí toda la casa de Israel y toda la casa de Judá, dice Jehová, para que me fuesen por pueblo y por fama, y por alabanza y por honra: empero no escucharon.
For as the girdle cleaveth to the loins of a man, so have I caused to cleave unto me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, saith the LORD; that they might be unto me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.
For as the belt clings to the waist of a man, so I have caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to me,’ says the LORD; ‘that they may be to me for a people, for a name, for praise, and for glory; but they would not hear.’
Dis-leur ces paroles : Ainsi a dit l'Eternel, Dieu d'Israël : Toute cruche sera remplie de vin. Ils te répondront : Ne savons-nous pas bien que que toute cruche sera remplie de vin ?
Les dirás pues esta palabra: Así ha dicho Jehová, Dios de Israel: Henchiráse de vino todo odre. Y ellos te dirán: ¿No sabemos que todo odre se henchirá de vino?

Et tu leur diras : Ainsi a parlé l'Eternel : Voici, je vais remplir tous les habitants de ce pays et les rois assis sur le trône de David, les sacrificateurs et les prophètes et tous les habitants de Jérusalem, d'ivresse.
Entonces les has de decir: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que yo lleno de embriaguez todos los moradores de esta tierra, y á los reyes de la estirpe de David que se sientan sobre su trono, y á los sacerdotes y profetas, y á todos los moradores de Jerusalem;
Then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit upon David’s throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.

Et je les briserai les uns contre les autres, les pères et les fils ensemble, a dit l'Eternel ; je n'épargnerai pas ; je n'aurai pas de compassion ; je n'aurai pas de pitié pour ne pas les détruire.

Dad gloria á Jehová Dios vuestro, antes que haga venir tinieblas, y antes que vuestros pies tropiecen en montes de oscuridad, y esperéis luz, y os la torne sombra de muerte y tinieblas.

Et si vous n'écoutez pas ces choses, mon âme pleurera en secret votre orgueil, mon œil versera des larmes et se fondra, parce que le troupeau de l'Eternel aura été emmené captif.
Mas si no oyereis esto, en secreto llorará mi alma á causa de vuestra soberbia; y llorando amargamente, se desharán mis ojos en lágrimas, porque el rebaño de Jehová fué cautivo.

Alzad vuestros ojos, y ved los que vienen del aquilón: ¿dónde está el rebaño que te fué dado, la grey de tu gloria?

Que diras-tu, quand l'Eternel t'imposera pour maîtres ceux auxquels tu avais appris tes amours ? Les douleurs ne te saisiront-elles pas comme une femme qui enfante ?
¿Qué dirás cuando te visitará? porque tú los enseñaste á ser príncipes y cabeza sobre ti. ¿No te tomarán dolores como á mujer que pare?
What wilt thou say when he shall punish thee? for thou hast taught them to be captains, and as chief over thee: shall not sorrows take thee, as a woman in travail?
What will you say when he sets over you as head those whom you have yourself taught to be friends to you? Won’t sorrows take hold of you, as of a woman in travail?
Et si tu dis dans ton cœur : Pourquoi ces choses m'arrivent-elles ? C'est pour la multitude de tes péchés que les pans de ta robe ont été relevés, que tes talons ont été meurtris.
Cuando dijeres en tu corazón: ¿Por qué me ha sobrevenido esto? Por la enormidad de tu maldad fueron descubiertas tus faldas, fueron desnudos tus calcañares.
And if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered, and thy heels made bare.
If you say in your heart, “Why have these things come on me?” Your skirts are uncovered because of the greatness of your iniquity, and your heels suffer violence.
Un Maure changera-t-il sa peau, un léopard ses taches ? Alors vous pourrez aussi faire le bien, vous qui êtes appris à mal faire.
¿Mudará el negro su pellejo, y el leopardo sus manchas? Así también podréis vosotros hacer bien, estando habituados á hacer mal.

tes adultères, tes hennissements, l'horreur de tes impudicités, sur toutes les hauteurs de la campagne. J'ai vu tes abominations. Malheur à toi, Jérusalem ! Tu ne seras pas purifiée, après combien de temps encore ?
Tus adulterios, tus relinchos, la maldad de tu fornicación sobre los collados: en el mismo campo vi tus abominaciones. ¡Ay de ti, Jerusalem! ¿No serás al cabo limpia? ¿hasta cuándo todavía?
I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?
