No he participado de los alegres festines del pueblo, más bien me he apartado de ellos enojado por sus malas conductas, lleno de indignación. ¿No dejarán jamás de perseguirme? ¡Es que a veces siento que no hay remedio para mis males y en ocasiones te siento indiferente a mi dolor!».

No me senté en compañía de burladores, ni me engreí á causa de tu profecía; sentéme solo, porque me llenaste de desabrimiento.

I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.
