Entonces Yahvé me dijo: “Aunque Moisés y Samuel se presentaran ante mí para interceder, yo no sentiría compasión por este pueblo. ¡Échalos de mi presencia! ¡Que se vayan!
Y DÍJOME Jehová: Si Moisés y Samuel se pusieran delante de mí, mi voluntad no será con este pueblo: échalos de delante de mí, y salgan.
Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

Y si te preguntan: ‘¿A dónde vamos a ir?’, diles que así dice Yahvé: El que está destinado a la muerte, a la muerte; el que a la espada, a la espada; el que al hambre, al hambre; y el que al cautiverio, al cautiverio’.
Y será que si te preguntaren: ¿A dónde saldremos? les dirás: Así ha dicho Jehová: El que á muerte, á muerte; y el que á cuchillo, á cuchillo; y el que á hambre, á hambre; y el que á cautividad, á cautividad.
And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.
It will happen when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go out?’ then you shall tell them, ‘The LORD says: “Such as are for death, to death; such as are for the sword, to the sword; such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for captivity, to captivity.”’
Enviaré contra ellos cuatro clases de castigo”, dice Yahvé: “la espada para matar, los perros para despedazar, y las aves del cielo y las fieras de la tierra para devorar y destruir.
Y enviaré sobre ellos cuatro géneros, dice Jehová: cuchillo para matar, y perros para despedazar, y aves del cielo y bestias de la tierra, para devorar y para disipar.
And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.
“I will appoint over them four kinds,” says the LORD: “the sword to kill, the dogs to tear, the birds of the sky, and the animals of the earth, to devour and to destroy.
Haré que todos los reinos de la tierra se horroricen al verlos, por culpa de lo que Manasés hijo de Ezequías, rey de Judá, hizo en Jerusalén.
Y entregarélos á ser agitados por todos los reinos de la tierra, á causa de Manasés hijo de Ezechîas rey de Judá, por lo que hizo en Jerusalem.
And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.

Porque ¿quién te tendrá lástima, Jerusalén? ¿Quién llorará por ti? ¿Quién se detendrá a preguntar cómo estás?
Porque ¿quién tendrá compasión de ti, oh Jerusalem? ¿ó quién se entristecerá por tu causa? ¿ó quién ha de venir á preguntar por tu paz?
For who shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask how thou doest?
For who will have pity on you, Jerusalem? Who will mourn you? Who will come to ask of your welfare?
Tú me rechazaste”, dice Yahvé. “Te volviste atrás. Por eso levanté mi mano contra ti y te destruí. Ya estoy cansado de tenerte compasión.
Tú me dejaste, dice Jehová, atrás te volviste: por tanto yo extenderé sobre ti mi mano, y te destruiré; estoy cansado de arrepentirme.
Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.
You have rejected me,” says the LORD. “You have gone backward. Therefore I have stretched out my hand against you and destroyed you. I am weary of showing compassion.
Los dispersé como paja al viento por todo el país. Los dejé sin hijos. He destruido a mi pueblo, porque no quisieron dejar sus malos caminos.
Y aventélos con aventador hasta las puertas de la tierra; desahijé, desbaraté mi pueblo; no se tornaron de sus caminos.
And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people, since they return not from their ways.

Sus viudas son ahora más numerosas que la arena del mar. En pleno mediodía traje un destructor contra las madres de los jóvenes. Hice que de repente cayeran sobre ellas la angustia y el terror.
Sus viudas se me multiplicaron más que la arena de la mar; traje contra ellos destruidor á medio día sobre la madre y los hijos; sobre la ciudad hice que de repente cayesen terrores.
Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.
Their widows are increased more than the sand of the seas. I have brought on them against the mother of the young men a destroyer at noonday. I have caused anguish and terrors to fall on her suddenly.
La madre que tuvo siete hijos se desmaya. Se queda sin aliento. Su sol se puso cuando todavía era de día. Quedó avergonzada y humillada. A los que queden de ellos, los entregaré a la espada frente a sus enemigos”, dice Yahvé.
Enflaquecióse la que parió siete; llenóse de dolor su alma; su sol se le puso siendo aún de día; fué avergonzada y llena de confusión: y lo que de ella quedare, entregarélo á cuchillo delante de sus enemigos, dice Jehová.
She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.
She who has borne seven languishes. She has given up the spirit. Her sun has gone down while it was yet day. She has been disappointed and confounded. I will deliver their residue to the sword before their enemies,” says the LORD.
¡Ay de mí, madre mía! ¡Me diste a luz para ser un hombre de pleitos y de discusiones con todo el país! A nadie le he prestado dinero, ni nadie me lo ha prestado a mí; y sin embargo, todos me maldicen.
¡Ay de mí, madre mía, que me has engendrado hombre de contienda y hombre de discordia á toda la tierra! Nunca les dí á logro, ni lo tomé de ellos; y todos me maldicen.
Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me.

Yahvé respondió: “Te aseguro que te fortaleceré para que te vaya bien. Haré que, en tiempos de desgracia y aflicción, sea el enemigo quien te pida ayuda a ti.
Dijo Jehová: De cierto tus reliquias serán en bien; de cierto haré que el enemigo te salga á recibir en el tiempo trabajoso, y en el tiempo de angustia.
The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
The LORD said, “Most certainly I will strengthen you for good. Most certainly I will cause the enemy to make supplication to you in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
¿Se puede romper el hierro, especialmente el hierro del norte y el bronce?
¿Quebrará el hierro al hierro de la parte de aquilón, y al bronce?
Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?
Can one break iron, even iron from the north, and bronze?
Tus riquezas y tesoros los entregaré como botín, sin cobrar nada, por causa de todos tus pecados en todo tu territorio.
Tus riquezas y tus tesoros daré á saco sin ningún precio, por todos tus pecados, y en todos tus términos;
Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.
I will give your substance and your treasures for a plunder without price, and that for all your sins, even in all your borders.
Haré que seas esclavo de tus enemigos en una tierra que no conoces; porque mi enojo ha encendido un fuego que arderá contra ustedes”.
Y te haré pasar á tus enemigos en tierra que no conoces: porque fuego se ha encendido en mi furor, y arderá sobre vosotros.
And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you.
I will make them to pass with your enemies into a land which you don’t know; for a fire is kindled in my anger, which will burn on you.”
Yahvé, tú lo sabes todo. Acuérdate de mí y ven a ayudarme; ¡véngate de mis perseguidores! No dejes que me maten, pues tú eres muy paciente. Mira que por ti sufro insultos.
Tú lo sabes, oh Jehová; acuérdate de mí, y visítame, y véngame de mis enemigos. No me tomes en la prolongación de tu enojo: sabes que por amor de ti sufro afrenta.
O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
LORD, you know. Remember me, visit me, and avenge me of my persecutors. You are patient, so don’t take me away. Know that for your sake I have suffered reproach.
Al encontrar tus palabras, yo las devoré. Tus palabras son mi gozo y la alegría de mi corazón, porque yo te pertenezco, Yahvé, Dios de los Ejércitos.
Halláronse tus palabras, y yo las comí; y tu palabra me fué por gozo y por alegría de mi corazón: porque tu nombre se invocó sobre mí, oh Jehová Dios de los ejércitos.
Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
Your words were found, and I ate them. Your words were to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart, for I am called by your name, LORD, God of Armies.
No me junté con los que solo piensan en divertirse. Me he quedado solo porque tú pusiste tu mano sobre mí, y me llenaste de indignación.
No me senté en compañía de burladores, ni me engreí á causa de tu profecía; sentéme solo, porque me llenaste de desabrimiento.
I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.
I didn’t sit in the assembly of those who make merry and rejoice. I sat alone because of your hand, for you have filled me with indignation.
¿Por qué mi dolor no se termina? ¿Por qué mi herida es incurable y no quiere sanar? ¿Vas a ser para mí como un arroyo engañoso, como esas aguas que de pronto se agotan?
¿Por qué fué perpetuo mi dolor, y mi herida desahuciada no admitió cura? ¿Serás para mí como cosa ilusoria, como aguas que no son estables?
Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?
Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? Will you indeed be to me as a deceitful brook, like waters that fail?
Por eso, así dice Yahvé: “Si te arrepientes, yo te restauraré para que puedas servirme. Si dejas de decir cosas sin valor y hablas lo que es valioso, tú serás mi portavoz. Que ellos se vuelvan a ti, pero tú no te vuelvas a ellos.
Por tanto así dijo Jehová: Si te convirtieres, yo te repondré, y delante de mí estarás; y si sacares lo precioso de lo vil, serás como mi boca. Conviértanse ellos á ti, y tú no te conviertas á ellos.
Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.
Therefore the LORD says, “If you return, then I will bring you again, that you may stand before me; and if you take out the precious from the vile, you will be as my mouth. They will return to you, but you will not return to them.
Frente a este pueblo te pondré como un muro de bronce fortificado. Pelearán contra ti, pero no podrán vencerte; porque yo estoy con ustedes para salvarlos y para rescatarte”, dice Yahvé.
Y te daré para este pueblo por fuerte muro de bronce, y pelearán contra ti, y no te vencerán: porque yo estoy contigo para guardarte y para defenderte, dice Jehová.
And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
I will make you to this people a fortified bronze wall. They will fight against you, but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you to save you and to deliver you,” says the LORD.
“Te libraré del poder de los malvados, y te rescataré de las manos de los violentos”.
Y librarte he de la mano de los malos, y te redimiré de la mano de los fuertes.
And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.
“I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible.”
