But they hearkened not, and inclined not their ear, but stiffened their neck more than their fathers did, so as not to hear me, and not to receive Or, instruction correction.

Mas ellos no oyeron, ni inclinaron su oído, antes endurecieron su cerviz, por no oir, ni recibir corrección.

But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.
