Doch sie werden antworten: ›Vergebliche Mühe! Nein, wir wollen unsern eigenen Gedanken nachgehen und ein jeder nach dem Starrsinn seines bösen Herzens handeln!‹«

Y dijeron: Es por demás: porque en pos de nuestras imaginaciones hemos de ir, y hemos de hacer cada uno el pensamiento de su malvado corazón.

And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.

But they say, ‘It is in vain; for we will walk after our own plans, and we will each follow the stubbornness of his evil heart.’”
