Bleibt doch der Schnee länger auf den Steinen im Felde, wenn's vom Libanon herab schneit, und das Regenwasser verschießt nicht so bald, wie mein Volk vergißt.

¿Faltará la nieve del Líbano de la piedra del campo? ¿faltarán las aguas frías que corren de lejanas tierras?

Will a man leave the snow of Lebanon which cometh from the rock of the field? or shall the cold flowing waters that come from another place be forsaken?

Will the snow of Lebanon fail from the rock of the field? Will the cold waters that flow down from afar be dried up?
