18Entonces dijeron: “¡Vengan! Hagamos planes contra Jeremías; porque no nos faltará el sacerdote que nos enseñe la ley, ni el sabio que nos dé consejos, ni el profeta que nos traiga la palabra de Dios. ¡Vengan! Ataquémoslo con sus propias palabras y no hagamos caso a nada de lo que diga”.

18Y dijeron: Venid, y tracemos maquinaciones contra Jeremías; porque la ley no faltará del sacerdote, ni consejo del sabio, ni palabra del profeta. Venid é hirámoslo de lengua, y no miremos á todas sus palabras.

18Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.
