18Ed essi hanno detto: Venite, e facciamo delle macchinazioni contro a Geremia; perciocchè la Legge non verrà giammai meno dal sacerote, nè il consiglio dal savio, nè la parola dal profeta; venite, e percotiamolo con la lingua e non attendiamo a tutte le sue parole.

18Y dijeron: Venid, y tracemos maquinaciones contra Jeremías; porque la ley no faltará del sacerdote, ni consejo del sabio, ni palabra del profeta. Venid é hirámoslo de lengua, y no miremos á todas sus palabras.

18Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.
